I wouldn't underestimate the EcoBoost. I'm sure it's very responsive to modifications as well.
I don't think there's much you can do to it. I tried to find a better intercooler. Texas gets fairly hot, and I don't want her stuck on the side of the road.

I understand. Still a great car. I've seen good discounts bring the pricing between 30 and 35k for a brand new one.
I believe hers was over 50. Fully loaded. EB Premium Vapor blue Blue, crimson red interior, B&O, and all the fancy stuff. Right now you can get big buck in discounts. I nearly got my husbands GT Premium PP for a song and dance. I got a check for my stolen Mustang and went to get two for my husband and I. They happened to have my favorite color used 24 GT Premium PP low mileage trade in and I had to have it. Was looking at the CT5 V Blackwing. But how long will this model me in production and how about parts? So Mustang is the way to go. Plenty of parts.

Your approval and appreciation is what matters for your choice of vehicle. : )
Was going between the CT4 or CT5 , both Blackwings. The six cylinder had a terrible sound as if it were struggling and ready to explode. All the popping on deceleration. I'd still like to get it, but reality stops me. I need something like a truck or Explorer. I have a mini Long Horned cow I may need to tow around. She's not that heavy at about 700 pounds.

If I had the extra budget, I'd love to try out a 6mt ct4v blackwing. I saw a couple at my local dealership for around $65-68k recently.
The one I wanted was 72-75 grand. Green with the tan interior, graphite wheels red Brembos, black badges, 6 speed. Who ever thought of a manual transmission in a Cadillac? I could sell my garaged DH Premium ember blue HP Recaros. There's a few collectors around here, and they offered what I bought it for. But I really need something to tow with. A Mustang won't work for a 6-7 hundred pound cow with humongous horns.

Ford, Dodge, and GMC have some good diesel options as far as heavy duty trucks for towing. Not sure about the new tundra but you may as well look into that alongside.
Yeah. I searched Ford Explorers and was let down. Tiny engines. Was the top model which only was available with a 6 cylinder. I should get an old early 70s Chevy Cheyenne 10 like my uncles. He lets me tow with it. Been in the family since new.

When I sold my SVO the plan was to get an EcoBoost with the Performance Package, the deal breaker was no manual transmission option, so I went with the Six Speed Handling Package Dark Horse.
There's a lot to like with the turbo four, but the most important piece for me was shifting gears.

Ecoboost is a great value for someone who wants a daily driver to get around town, or someone who isn't an "enthusiast" and just wants the style of an American coupe.

I cross-shopped my prior '24 Ecoboost against a '25 Camry, because that was its intended purpose: an econobox daily for getting around. It was cheaper than the Camry, way faster, more fun, more stylish, worse on fuel but still great MPGs, especially for the performance you get. You can still do burnouts because it comes with an LSD even as a base model.

I actually prefer the simpler less busy look of the Ecoboost over the GT. The simpler center grille makes it look wider because it isn't broken up by the GT's nostrils, and the long unbroken hood makes it look longer because it isn't broken up by the GT's hood vent (which looks like a weird forehead stamp to me). My '21 Camaro had an almost identical hood vent, but placed further back, which made it look better. The Ecoboost has a clean handsome shark look, which I like. Kinda German, like Audi or BMW-esque.

I've driven both my '24 Ecoboost and '25 GT against friends on twisty technical mountain roads, and the Ecoboost definitely feels more nimble and tossable. The GT is more sloppy but of course faster in full-throttle acceleration and better at passing people on the straights.

I had a 2017 Convertible eco with the ford intake and tune. I liked the car a lot. But with a 486hp V8 growling version lurking it is hard to stay smiling, at least for me.

Funny thing is it is the opposite for my RAM. I would take the quiet SST HO over the hemi V8 everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.

V8 has less power in that case

it's like 3.5 eco vs 5.0 in the F150. No brainer if you're towing etc

Agreed, was making the sound reference. Could care less in a truck
