Some of you know, Im a tuner. And I have owned 5 now of these S650s. Building tunes and testing for the last year. I've owned, tested and tuned all the major kits except the Roush kit. So with my new 26 GT I have, I decided to try it out.

One thing to note, the roush has a bad rep from the previous gen blowers being the old Eaton Roots style. They heat soak and are generally inferior to all other PD style blowers from the last few years.

Well this newest version is based off the Magnusson 2650 rotor pack/cooling brick design. Its a TVS blower, not roots. Its far more effecient than what you would have gotten before. The case design, the cooling bricks size and placement. Its right on par with the Whipple 3.0.

The 2650 TVS blower Roush now uses is very similar to the LT4 Magnuson 2650 that everyone loves on that platform. Its known for better than stock tq down low like a PD blower, but pulls harder up top like a centrifugal blower.

And having one now on Roush's tune, I can tell you this is still the case. It has a bit more punch than the G3 ESS blower my last 2025 had, but it pulls harder than the whipple 3.0 I also had...lol. These are all seat of the pants feelings, but I seem to have found a sweet spot.

The point of getting this was to create custom tunes for it to sell like I have for all the other kits, but also have something I can enjoy as well. I dont feel the need to sell this car as quickly once I have all my tuning complete.

But for what I feel the roush tune is pretty darn good. Shifts nice, drives nice and pulls hard to basically the stock shift points. I will be putting in all my quality of life changes and also leaning it out/turning it up a bit spark wise. There are always lots that can be done over these OEM calibrations.

Here is what she looks like. Completely stock with just the kit installed.

A few follow up points. The roush team was awesome answering the phone and walking me through their software to get it flashed.

The front bumper didnt even need to come off to do this install.

With the stock airboxes and airfilters, I can hear NO WHINE from the supercharger. That sucks. Roush said I would need to take off the lids and put on some high flow filters to be able to hear it.

Roush is letting me submit the warranty paperwork and they will cover the 3/36 powertrain for the duration of the cars factory warranty since I had a real shop with certified mechanic install it. Doesnt need to be ford to do it.

@ZXMustang : Much better!

The Roushe setups are nice with the Red colour and keeping the dual TB's. Question:
1. What size TB's are included? Are they the GT500 size 92mm?
2. You can add the CF CAI tubes; those would be a nice touch.
3. I did see a YouTube video where someone compared the cooling to the Whipple. The Whipple is larger, but the Rouche has a different setup. I would wonder which would saty cooler over all.

I think also there may be some more customizability tuning? I know with the Whipple you have to use that file because of the single TB setup from Whipple. I always wondered if the other tuning is similar to that of the other companies, or would that not be the case because they keep the dual TB setup.

Looking forward to see what get done here. Congrats on the vehicle.

So, in your case, I will say:
Let the mods.....CONTINUE!
