The new Megazilla crate engine isn't street legal as far as I know. It's probably because of some cheap as environmental issues or are there any other reasons?

Since it's not street legal we can scrap any hope of getting that engine in a future street legal car...

Even if we’re street legal it doesn’t matter, we’ll never see it. But I guess it’s nice to dream.

Street legal means it's not emissions compliant. Just like any other random engine you would build or buy and stick it in a car.
