Great car but I’m not sure I like the looks of this particular wide body. I would line a smoother looking wide body, this one seems a bit chopped up.

A "cyber-punk pony car" from none other than "Car and Driver"........, LOL!! 🤣

Wow, that really sounds appealing to a mature buyer, which is the demographic of Mustang buyers. Kids can't afford them unless they mortgage away future earnings which is a bad joke.

The only thing that seems to count to third party marketers is more horsepower.....my dick is bigger than yours...... .... Got news for them. A real sports car with real market appeal in a market size that amounts to anything meaningful takes a whole lot more than horesepower.....a whole lot more.

Gotta be stage 2 at the very least. But if thats true... I thought Ford does not get behind the stage 2 kit with their whipple and give it the warranty blessing????

Eh, different strokes for different folks. A lot of folks are adding that spoiler as an aftermarket item to their Mustangs, so it has fans.

I am not sure what the wide body does if the tires are the same size as you can get on a Dark Horse.

It sounds like they kept the stock brakes, too (which are pretty good, so I guess it makes sense).

I'd like to see some performance numbers on it, like running it on Big Willow (or Nurburgring!) against a stock GT or a C8 corvette or, well something. Of just hand it to Randy Pobst to run and put on the leaderboard wherever the lap time falls.

I have the same theory you just mentioned! I like the GTD designs perfectly!

They should get all these clown-ass aftermarket cars together (Shelby, RTR, whoever) and have them do 5 laps at a road course, and watch how bad a stock Dark Horse beats them all.

🤮

One of those situations where you know the companies won’t lend out their car for testing and owners wouldn’t either. The idea of spending that kind of money on their car and it didn’t perform would hurt.

I'll take a shelby over this. I hate the body kit. It reminds me of a build in an earlier need for speed game.

I however am thinking of adding a whipple to my dh.

This car would fit perfectly into the next Fast and Furious movie......

I like the way the S650 RTR Vehicles look (especially their custom colors - some of them are SO nice) ......but this one......this looks like someone took a body kit made for a Civic or WRX and molded it onto a Mustang.....I think this car will age horribly......

Someone said Vaughn is like the modern Carroll which is ridiculous…. Then realized he essentially created a RWB for Mustangs!!!! Lol. Take away the fact he doesn’t put on the kits himself.
