Here is an assessment of my first two months in my 2025 GT Premium Convertible, Molten Magenta Metallic Tri-coat, Bronze, Carmine Red, 10 speed automatic, 401A, Active Exhaust, B&O Sound, GT floor mats:
  • Ordered: Jan 2, 2025
  • Built: Mar 13, 2025
  • Delivered to Dealer: Apr 16, 2025
  • Picked-up by Me: Apr 17, 2025
  • Current Mileage: 3,991
  • Driving style: Less than 1/4 miles on interstate; mostly 2-lane highways, speeds greatly varied
  • Problems/Issues: None
  • Changes/additions:
    • Purchased Ford Protect ESP from Granger
    • LED light bar in trunk
    • Side and rear nets in trunk
    • Pioneer sub-woofer
    • Infinity center speaker
    • Wired for my CTEK battery tender
    • MUSTANG red lettering under hood
    • Replaced cheap chrome OEM lights with Gorilla black lugnuts
    • Patched the front inner fender holes with the DIY kit
    • Installed visor warning covers
    • Purchased and programmed third fob
    • Installed black appliquĂ© to rear trunk lid
    • Installed chrome dead pedal cover
    • Installed wireless, cooled phone charter
  • The car has been absolutely wonderful. I got all the settings and functions set-up the way I wanted them early-on and have enjoyed the heck out of driving this car. I put almost 48k miles on my 22 Ecoboost. Also very enjoyable, but the 5.0 is such a hoot and improvement. Use the wireless CarPlay most of the time.
  • IT’s a keeper!!!

I assume you don't drive at night much with those Gorilla black lug nuts. :sunglasses:

Nice list of mods. How do you like the infinity front center speaker?

😉😉😉

I like the sound system overall. I probably didn’t need to make any changes, but the Pioneer sub-woofer is an improvement.

My old ears don’t require a perfect sound system and I don’t need any additional improvements. I don’t crank it up too loud too often.

Does that 10" Pioneer sub pound, or does it add warmth to the music. Might spring for one for my daughter. People not only like rap, some of us also listen to classical which can tend to pound out bass from a few different instruments.

It does not pound unless you really crank it up, but even then it’s not much of a pound. I have my bass set to max and I find it all nice and smooth.

I listen to classic rock and pop, along with some country and classical.

The sub was a pretty easy swap. I used one of the videos that are posted to assist.

I had an 18" in my last Mustang. Fit right into the spare wheel well. Pounded like crazy, with deep deep bass drop. Was a fairly heavy box, and you could notice it in turns. Going to put a Cerwin-Vega spare tire sub in the Nite Horse I may purchase after I sell my DH.

I have a spare tire. I put a lot of miles on my car cruising the country, so I want a spare just in case I get a flat out in the boonies somewhere. Your info may help others!

Me too. I need to get out and enjoy the countryside. Most of my driving is from the outskirts of town to the big city, and freeways. The Cerwin-Vega fits right into the spare tire and tightens using the stock spare fastener. The speaker has a built in amp, and a hole in the middle like a donut to mount with spare tire. And ingenious invention. Internally amped or non amped so more than one could be used. There's even under the seat subs. They use them in Corvettes, Ferrari's, etc.
