Hello All. Last year I traded a 2018 gt conv for the 2024. I will post later on my thoughts about the differences between the two. In the mean time this is my fourth Mustang gt conv in my lifetime (I am old) I hope you enjoy the original pony car.

Now that I have had my 2024 GT for year and a half I will share my thoughts. First of all I am an old time muscle car owner. My first car was a super stock Dodge, 426 wedge. My second car was a 1968 GTO 400 4sp. So I know muscle cars. My first coyote was a 2014 GT with 420 horsepower. And to be honest it never felt that quick. My 2018 was wow. It would destroy any 1960's or early 1972 muscle car including the famous 426 hemi. My 2024 definitely feels quicker seat of the pants. More low end torque. But either car gen3 or 4 is an amusement park thrill..

you got the first year car, and the best one since Ford has either been taking features off the car or charging more money for them.

If you were lucky you got a "job 1" car without the auto start/stop.

a 2026 car ordered as my 24GT 401A Vert was is now over $5000 more than the 24 and the 26 has less features.

I am an old timer to. The tax on my 24 convertible was more than the purchase price of my first new Mustang in"1965".

The car a 2024GT vert has the dreaded start/stop feature. The button to disable it is right next to the start button so I automatically press both buttons every time I drive it.
