Finally made a couple 1/4mile passes with N2O.
Mostly full weight, only pulled pass seat [so I could haul my generator ], and spare tire, but had a 12lb bottle bracket mounted in the spare tire well. Still stock exhaust w/AVE.

1st pass was a 11,78@121 hot baseline, made that pass 30min after driving 2hours getting down there, mounted my Hoosier DR's and emptied the car and started warming the bottle.

Mounted the bottle and made the 2nd pass 30min later.

With 47n/24f jets ran 11,41@126 started spraying at 4000.

Changed the jets to 52n / 27f cooled the car for an hour ... and then sat in the staging lane for an hour and a half while they cleaned the track.

Made the 3d pass on <900 bottle pressure. Dropped the NoS hit to 3200 and that 100shot woke her up. Ran 11,11@127.

It felt much stronger on the launch but the PCM shifted straight from 1st to 3rd which killed any chance for a 10,9xx.

Didn't have time to warm the bottle to make another pass.

Not bad for a redneck mounted single nozzle ...

This thing should run an easy 10,5xx on a 150shot.

Just need to keep the tranny from skipping 2nd 'cause that was a brutal skipped shift.

Finally got a break with the weather and made some hits with the Lethal Catless LT's still packing the suitcase OE AVE.

Roughly -500 DA, 175lbs pulled off the car, Hoosier DR's and using a Kumho temp radial on a OE 18x5 wheel as a front runner.

1/4 tank Sunoco 260GT, I was planning on spraying a 100shot but forget the bottle mount so NA only this trip ..

That’s definitely cooking for headers and pulling weight šŸ‘€

what all did you pull off the car?

Not too much actually,

Pass seat - 45lbs
Rear Seat - 32.5lbs
Spare/jack - 40lbs
Drag Pack wheels - 50lbs
plastic covers - 15lbs
182.5lbs

I have a 9.5lb lithium battery that'll drop -35lbs and that'll be as much I'm pulling. Although I need to drop 50 myself.

That 11.35 pass should've been a 11,2xx but it short sifted 2nd and 3rd. I think the 1.5hr cool down cooled the trans too much, fluid temp was logged at <150f

I see easy 10,9xx if we ever these things shifting at 7800

Yeah N/A mine would short shift too, I know a few who have gone faster manually using the paddles …

great work, I have a 5lb battery but haven’t installed, and I have questions about pulling the passenger seat

people were saying you would get a dash light that ONLY the dealer can clear after you re install the seat…. Is that true?

The airbag fault/dash alert has always cleared when I put the seat back in.

Well I’m about to drop the Pass seat and battery this spring then 🦾

I just want a 9.5x, should be pretty easy actually, no chasing 8s, that’s where it gets expensive and stuff breaks

Made it back to Lapeer International Dragway before they closed for the season on November 3, 2024. Temperature in the 50's and a slight breeze. Hit 11's on just a set of drag radials finally

11's on 11-3-2024.jpg
So a couple of times on stock cars dipping into the 11s, but with aftermarket tires, it looks like, including a drag radial for one.

Did you?

What is your car running, and what did you do to get there?

@Junkyard Dog i haven’t been out to the track at all this year… I got into golf and it’s become my new hobby, people are like ā€œgolfing is expensiveā€ and I just say I came from drag racing, this is the cheapest most productive hobby I’ve ever had..

Sticking one on the greens is more fun than running 9s…

Runs 8.0-8.1 at the same track in the same conditions. It takes a 3.55 Gear car to get into the 7's on stock power in what I would consider normal DA.

One item to add is that if you log your Mustang at the track on 91 octane at some point the knock sensors will pull timing. In factory form these cars require 93-94 octane to remain consistent while drag racing. I also tried at two different tracks to go with 94 octane base fuel and add up to E30 Utilising VP Racing Fuel X85 and had zero net gain in MPH or E.T. Despite what "Dyno" graphs might show real world results indicate a good 93-94 octane base fuel will maximise the cars ability for timing. I compete in foot brake street/sportsman bracket racing.

I'm less then 3 weeks away from returning to the track. This time with Whiteline Vertical Links, Whiteline Toe Arms, Rear IFS Drag Alignment, 17x10 Forgestar's and 305/35R17 ET Street Radial R's.

During that event on Test & Tune if my tunes are ready, I will post up "Vendor A" real world MPH/ET Gains as this is never done on this forum.
