Ford doesn’t make one for the S650 GT. They stopped in 2021. The 2022 and 2023 S550 Mustangs didn’t have the option either because of new emissions equipment (narrower intake tube, carbon trap filter), which is why they also lost 10 hp. But here’s the part number and link for that. M-9603-M8B...

I thought a bunch of the change is for future regulation, pending higher MPG CAFE Standards, removing the provision about individual states (California CARB specifically) driving products/solutions for all states. If there's a relaxation in existing standards, I wouldn't expect much core change...

Yep, agree. My next vehicle is one of those EV robo-taxis to come pick me up at the bar when I've had too much fun. More of a "cheaper than a DUI" utility vehicle. I'd also keep my ICE cars for the sheer enjoyment of driving, Mustang for on-road, Jeep for off-road, wife's SUV for road trips.

It is not required for S550 or S650 Torsens. It won't hurt and it is not already in the Motorcraft fluid that Ford sells by the quart over the counter. I can't say that it's that way if the shop or dealer have it already in bulk or use fluid from a different vendor (Amsoil, Valvoline, etc.)...
