  1. New Ford Full Synthetic API SQ Oil is out.

Bought a couple of cases today and am wondering if the oil is compatible with SP. I’m not wondering if it is compatible in the engine, but can leftover SP oil be mixed in with SQ as I have a couple of quarts left over.
  2. Haven’t had an OTA update in a long while

Apparently I got that that one as well about 9 days ago. Never got an alert though.
  3. Deepest sounding axle back

Same, Roush axle back with no H/X yet, but am thinking about it (specifically Roush H).
  4. Wrong VIN or Wrong Order

    Wow, name that car Serendipity.
  5. Auto Stop Not Working Anymore

Same, my late 2023 build doesn’t have it either. Therefore, I had to pay gas guzzler tax. This “feature” was added January 2024. Our older cars are considered “Job 1” builds.
  6. CEO Jim Farley: They'll have to rip the Mustang's stick shift 'out of our cold, dead hands'

So how about that Lucid Sapphire or Tesla Plaid? Maybe, just maybe, some people actually like a third pedal and don't care about being the fastest or quickest around. And maybe, some people like the old school visceral experience without having a subwoofer make exhaust sounds.
  7. CEO Jim Farley: They'll have to rip the Mustang's stick shift 'out of our cold, dead hands'

Well I have a MT82 with 3:55 and maybe I'm an old man but this car is pretty far from boring especially in Sport Mode with the windows open and the sound of the Roush axle backs. My 1974 Mustang II with 4 cylinder and 4 speed, was closer to what I'd call boring. I'm thankful that I have this...
  8. CEO Jim Farley: They'll have to rip the Mustang's stick shift 'out of our cold, dead hands'

Same here. My last car was EcoBoost with manual. After it got hit and repaired I traded it in on the only remaining option, GT with a manual.
  9. 2026 Dark Horse SC Mustang pricing released!

Supercharged Predator crate engine used to be $25,000, Tremec DCT is around $9,000. So parts alone are nearing $40,000. I can't image the cost of a shoehorn to make it all fit and work in a S650.
  10. Added Roush Axle Back to My Performace Pack

Ok, interesting. I take it you went with the quad tips. Also, did you have to get the bracket that retains the motors so the computer doesn't throw codes? I didn't have the active exhaust, but did add the dual tip Roush. I am curious of how much louder it would be with a resonator delete. I...
  11. Added Roush Axle Back to My Performace Pack

Let me get this straight, you cut out the active exhaust for an axle back?
  12. GTD for sale in Phoenix AZ?

  13. Dark Horse SC and GTD at Barrett Jackson Auction

There’s a lot to see, dozens of vendors, thousands of vehicles. I highly recommend downloading the B-J app and creating an account. You can not only see all that’s up for auction and track the results but you can watch it live. It’s easy for me because I live about 2.5 miles from the venue...
  14. Dark Horse SC and GTD at Barrett Jackson Auction

The local Shelby crew was there too. Also, there was a yellow RTR Ecoboost as well. I wonder if you tell them you’re interested, they’ll let you sit in the SC. It was locked up.
  15. Would anyone like to see Ford use the 7.3L Godziila V8 in a Mustang, resurrecting the Boss 429?

Yes, because it's a simpler engine. No variable valve timing, no MDS, no Direct Injection, no high pressure fuel pump. It's a long-lived, lower maintenance engine. With that said, why not a Mega-zilla https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-6007-MZ73
