  1. Diffuser recommendations for dark horse

I ordered the LIquivinyl posted above. It’s still in pre-fab. I’ll post up pics when I get it installed. Follow my 2024 Mustang RTR Spec 2 post for updates. My car is in the shop now getting more fuel, more boost, more everything. Haha.
  2. Roush Supercharger Injector Upgrade

I have a 2024 Mustang GT with Roush Launch Edition (phase 2) supercharger. I’m looking to turn up the boost and purchased a bunch of parts to support the build. I purchased Injector Dynamics 1050 XDS injectors from Lethal Performance and now my installer is telling me they are too tall. They...
  3. Has anyone experienced inadequate quality issues with RTR vehicles?

I have a 24 Spec 2. It has some paint missing where the trunk edge meets the duckbill spoiler. The car sat at the dealer for over a year and doesn’t have any rust like that. It also had 70 miles on it when I bought it.
  4. Supercharger Coming in Spring- What Supporting Mods am I missing?

As is typically the case, the crowd has gotten off topic. You’re adding a lot of good parts so far. In order of importance I would add: 1- catch cans 1.1-headers with no cats or at the very most green cats. If you can’t go catless I would not be doing track days or long highway pulls back to...
  5. Anyone try 20x12 et25 + spacers on back?

If it’s a good deal buy them and try to make some money on them. Putting them on your Mustang isn’t going to happen, though. Using spacers to push the wheel out away from the suspension is going to cause it to push outside the fender. Even a wide body kit wouldn’t be enough.
  6. Steeda Silver Bullet 2.0 Becomes First N/A S650 Mustang to Smash Into 9s on Pump Gas

I’m curious how much this would cost to replicate? Is it cheaper than using boost? Is it better than boost when it comes to combatting heat? Would a twin turbo or Whipple/Vortech/Roush supercharger yield the same results with less money spent?
  7. Catch Cans - 2300 mi Collection

I have UPR catch cans on each side. After 2300 miles this photo shows the amount of oil collected on my 24 Mustang GT with Roush phase 2 supercharger. I measured it at nearly 1.5 oz. This is from the “dirty side” only. My car has 2300 miles on it.
  8. 2024 RTR With Roush Supercharger Build

Next round of modifications have been ordered and the list of modifications beyond the RTR Spec 2 package and Roush Phase 2 blower will be: 78 mm SC Pulley Reische 170* thermostat KPM Fuel System 1500 hp Injector Dynamics ID-1050-XDS Soler Performance 90 mm TB’s Kooks LTH catless AWE...
  9. Building a 2025 mustang gt s650 - recommendations?

Supercharge it and put some RTR parts on it. You can basically build a stage 3 RTR for half the price they charge.
  10. Borla S-Type axle back vs Borla Atak axle back

If you’re just going to change the axle back portion I think the S type wouldn’t do much. I’m going to run catless LTH’s and an X pipe and hope that the S type muffler can tame the rasp.
  11. Gross rotors (rust)!

I carry a can of color-matched spray paint from Ford. Every time I get out of the vehicle I hit them with a light coat of paint. They look amazing. It’s a little annoying having to do it every single time I drive the vehicle but it’s so worth it not having to look at rusty rotors.
  12. DH LTH

On my C7Z, yes. I don’t have my headers installed yet on the Mustang.
  13. DH LTH

It’s simple. They turn off the 2nd bank of O2 sensors. The computer has no data to compare.
  14. DH LTH

I was quoted $1300 for a 10.5 hour install at a reputable muffler shop in Ohio.
  15. 2024 RTR With Roush Supercharger Build

On a serious note. Nothing good around me. Mid-Ohio is the closest circuit for track days. I doubt a boosted S650 is going to survive 30 minutes without overheating.
  16. 2024 RTR With Roush Supercharger Build

Unfortunately I’m a street racer. If I need to be at a race pace for 25-30 minutes then that means the chopper is on me.
  17. 2024 RTR With Roush Supercharger Build

Sorry. After digging into this, it appears that the RTR package must include a tow hook due to the low clearance. It appears to me that without the RTR package you will need to install the bracket behind the grill which will require the bumper removal.
