No, it's not that noise . No sure what the rattle is, but the whistle/whine is common for this transmission. In my video listen carefully at 1s, 4s those two point sound like the starter ....then listen to 17s , 19s, 22s when I let the gas off. The noise is not continuous...
yes correct. I just noticed it today when I was going with 20 mph. I thought it was my keys or sth that fell. lol. Car has almost 14k miles, drives and shifts well.
Try to do it at low speeds and let us know you hear it.
2024 GT base with automatic transmission.
I noticed that at very low speeds <30mph and low rpms < 2k when I slightly press the gas and then immediately let it off, there is a weird noise coming from the transmission. I know this trans likes to whine but is the sound bellow normal?
In the first...
I noticed this sound when I accelerate between 3k-4k rpm then it's "gone" or buried under the exhaust sound. It sounds similar to the induction noise but can't tell. The car is running fine , Auir/fuel ratio or vacuum does not change when this noise is present. It can also be heard from both...
41 lb.ft number is based on ford's installation instructions....The stud looks like it's welded in the back . The photo bellow shows how it is. Photo is taken from this thread https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/information-needed-k-brace-bolt-sheared-thread.81846/post-1887885

Thanks. I think it was always lime that. I have not noticed it in other modes or gears, but probably is there with respect to the modes. Only exhaust system is added. About 12k miles so far.
Maybe I need to be aggressive in the throttle to assist in the decision shifting process....
Notice in the videos how "hesitant" the acceleration is at the 4th gear. The RPMs are also slightly appear to drop. I tried this in manual mode as well but it seems to happen in the 3rd gear. it mostly happens at very moderate constant throttle. Any ideas? Drive mode is set to Normal
Just ordered the track springs. could not resist. can you sent some photos on where you installed the sleeves? Do you install those without taking apart the springs?
Waited until 11k miles. Car is stock except a Borla S-type cat back system.
Here are the results. I do not have dyne info before the exhaust installation.
91 octane. Temperature outside 20C , humidity bellow 50%. DynoCom 7500
@MAT1955 . Agreed. I already switched to OEM filters. What failure modes did you observe? I mostly worried about the hanging metal part I saw. Have you ever heard any internal damage caused by such cases?
I feel like I want to post this to inform the community. This is about the Steeda pro air filters. This is not a negative review just (serious) observations.
Upon inspecting I noticed few things
1) Dirt embedded within cotton
2) Dirt present in the inner side of the filter
3) Relatively larger...
