I kinda have a thing about over inflated shipping costs, so I've been going to Beefcake Racing lately. $12 flat rate on shipping, no matter what I've purchased so far.
Just as an example, I went to a particular company's website to order a product they manufactured; but when they wanted nearly...
I don't mean to sound critical, and please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I was always taught (Back when I was building shocks for Motocross and high performance Super Bikes) that the bump stops, particularly the ones on the shock itself, were there to ensure that the end of the shock...
I figured it would have been the APIM change that added the toggle to the screen, and was surprised when I didn't see anything related to approach lighting.
I just went out and looked again to confirm.
I can turn welcome lighting on/off through the screen, but there is nothing for approach lighting.
It has to be a premium thing. Dark Horse Premium (700A) comes with it as std equipment, but my non-premium Dark Horse (600A) did not.
Even with these changes, I still don't have the option to enable/disable the approach lighting though the dash, so there might be something I missed and still...
Approach lighting was not something my 600A trim Dark Horse was equipped with, so no option to enable or disable through the screen. It does come on the 700A variant though.
I know there's been some talk about Approach Lighting in the main spreadsheet thread, but didn't see where anyone had actually gotten it to work.
If you're unfamiliar with Approach Lighting, it is simply the vehicle turning on the Welcome Lighting when the key fob has been away from the vehicle...
When you use the remote display, the V1 itself runs in dark mode; meaning that there is nothing displayed on it's screen.
Additionally, since my Dark Horse is a 6 speed manual, my hand is typically near the shifter so having a mute button on the remote display in this location is a convenience...
Since I'm using a remote display on my V1 Gen2, I did things slightly different than what is outlined here.
Blendmount for the V1, wiring follows the headliner to the passenger side pillar, then down to the fuse box. V1 hardwire power socket is located there. Then the wiring for the remote...
This is actually a video for installing the Perimeter Plus security system Ford sells, but it shows you exactly what is required to get to the two center vents.
Doesn't look too bad really.
Perimeter Plus Install
So, I've been watching this thread for a few days now, particularly the posts regarding the seat belt splash screen...
I'll share my original as-built configuration as well as the changes that I made, all of which, so far, appear to have the desired effect without telling the car it has no...
I ordered the Air Design one as well, but then found one on BlueOval that is supposed to be a genuine Ford part with the Dark Horse badge already attached.
Needless to say, the Air Design one is still new in the box.
The other fit well but the hole for the camera did seem a little off.
No...
Howdy Mustang 7g forum!
Been lurking around for about a month since I picked up a shiny, new 2024 Vapor Blue Dark Horse with the handling package.
Figured I might as well sign myself up.
