i tried doing the misfire relearn thing in Forscan, but it wouldn't run on my car. It kept telling me the cylinder head temp was too low.
So I had to take it to the dealer and they did a KAM relearn which seems to have resolved the issue. For me at least.
I haven't attempted adding an extra fob for my Mustang, but I have replaced all of the keys for my 04 F150 and my nieces Ford Escape (cant remember the year, but it was push button start). Additionally a buddy of mine just did new key fobs on a slightly older Mustang last week. It was either...
I can see how one might think that, if all they do is sit around and polish their car.
I however choose to drive mine, and had just returned home from a car show (500 mile round trip) when that photo was taken.
Nearly 12k miles on a car that I've owned for a year and a half...
Sorry, but I'm just not buying that, because I have a 24 Dark Horse Handling Pack car.
Bottom Left button is for the intelligent speed limiter function. Top left is adaptive cruise follow distance select button, aka Driver Assistance.
And not to nit-pick, but the Performance pack was a GT...
The same Blendmount works in several different vehicles. Some require the bushings to be in while others should have them removed. I'd have to look at mine, but I'm 99% sure the bushings are out. Additionally, there will always be some gap between the two halves of the clamp going around the...
I have the 5spurs ones as well. Along with the start/stop button, center console armrest extension, and headlight and volume knobs. Pretty nice stuff since it's not all made out of plastic!
Sorry, I can't help much with info regarding the stock intakes as I'm running the aFe Momentum GT CAI's; but I'm still seeing numbers similar to your covers on test. IAT's are pretty consistent at typically 3 to 6 degrees over ambient while in motion; but like you said, will increase if I'm...
I had been contemplating those exact taillights. I really like the looks of them, just not so sure I want amber turn signals. If you could choose between red and amber like the Form Lighting ones I'd be all in!
Let us know how you like them once you get them installed.
This is assuming that the TPMS sensors being used are either the Ford sensors for your specific year and model car, or aftermarket sensors that have the proper programming for your specific make/model/year car.
If the sensors themselves are not programmed to 'speak' in the language that your...
I think you're going to find that most LEO's in the USA are actually using Ka band for radar. Last I really looked into it, and this was probably 15+ yrs ago, the only place you might still encounter a LEO running X band, back then, was Ohio. X is the oldest, and easiest to detect, type of...
Pretty much, yeah.
If we were to compare both radar and laser in terms of lighting, radar would be a lot like a flood light; whereas laser is more like…..a laser. Think laser pointer.
Fair enough. 👍
In a past life, when I lived near Anaheim, I didn't ever see many locals doing speed enforcement either. Except for that ONE Orange Cnty Sherriff with the laser gun that loved to sit along my route to work every morning, and who's laser gun I accidently jammed until I passed...
As a V1 user for many many years, I would have to disagree with this statement! Direction sensing is only a gimmick until you've experienced it. Sure you'll know if the source is getting closer without arrows, but you still don't have any idea where it's coming from. If the alert is from the...
Uniden R8's are typically regarded as best of the best right now. Valentine 1 Gen 2 are still top notch as well. Radenso has some that are pretty darn good. And, Escort's aren't incredibly terrible either I suppose.
Pretty much anything above will give you enough notice to appropriately...
this isn't an accident so it should go under the 'comprehensive' part of your insurance, which is for act of God stuff like this. I know insurance companies are dirty bastards, but if they jack your rates over something like this I think I'd be looking for a different insurance company.
