  1. Recaro Seats

I don't know what all ya'll are smoking, but it must be some pretty good sh!t if you think that Ford is sending out Mustangs that aren't built according to the window sticker from the factory, then sending the required parts to the dealership and relying on them to swap stuff out to the correct...
  2. Need help matching Dark Horse streering wheel thread color

Looks like 10 is probably going to be the closest.
  3. Darkhorse Handling pack aftermarket wheel options

Only when I'm not careful, but it can get a bit hecktic at times. On more than one occasion I've backed up for a city block in order to take a different route if I came across an obstacle I didn't think I could clear. Approaching things at an extreme angle helps quite a bit though.
  4. Darkhorse Handling pack aftermarket wheel options

So based on the above, if 20x11's fit without mods, is it then safe to assume that 19x11's et 26 with a 305/30-19 will still fit the front of a dark horse handling pack car that has been lowered close to an inch w/o adding more than about -1.5 degrees of camber? I've been looking at getting some...
  5. OEM leather seats covers installed in my poverty pony (DIY)

Started this little project this evening and managed to get the rear seats done in just over an hour. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to wait until next week to do the front seats seeing as how I can't find my bag of hog rings. The last time I had any use for them was about 8yrs ago though...
  6. DH manual misfire P0300/P0302/P0308 - PCM update?

Just returned home from roughly a 2000 mile trip out to Colorado and back. Had misfire codes pop up on several occasions while in Colorado. However it was usually a P0304 code with the last occurrence being both P0303 and P0304. I find that I can pretty consistently trigger the engine light...
  7. Hood flex normal?

I'm running an aftermarket fiberglass hood; so yes, there is a genuine concern that the hood could fling open while driving at any speed. Once this hood went on, the pins were no longer an option. They were a requirement.
  8. Hood flex normal?

Out with the old, in with the new. Well, the old can probably stay too... Just not when talking hood pins! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088PBC9NB
  9. Darkhorse Handling pack aftermarket wheel options

I stand corrected! Apparently someone does make the original sizes w/o needing to have them custom made.
  10. Darkhorse Handling pack aftermarket wheel options

Same. I'm still running the stock wheels, but have been considering some aftermarket options such as Apex and Project6gr. Unfortunately, if you're wanting to stick with something at least as wide as the original wheels, you'll likely end up with 11 wide in the front and 11.5 in the rear...
  11. Please explain Forscan to an idiot

Where does one get the software? https://forscan.org/download.html Cost There is a free 2 month trial that you can redo as many times as you want (you must email them) Or you can purchase a 1 year license for $20 Adaptor to go from PC to OBD...
  12. Cool Daily Random S650 Mustang Pics -- Post Yours! 📸

I hope that top photo doesn't mean you broke down along side the road!
  13. Amber DRL Done! (Using Forscan only)

If you want it, DM me, I can hook you up; but you're on your own for the license, or if you brick one of the modules flashing the firmware.
  14. Best tire size for 19x11 rear wheels

Somewhere between 3/4" and 1", I guess, according to Steeda. I have exactly 4" from the bottom of the front splitter to the ground. And yes, there are plenty of places that I have to be very careful getting to or avoid entirely.
  15. Best tire size for 19x11 rear wheels

I can tell you that on a 24 Dark Horse Handling Package car with Steeda Sport Progressive lowering springs, Pilot Sport 4s in 305/30-19 will fit the factory 19x10.5 w/ 24 offset front wheels without any rubbing whatsoever during normal and/or spirited driving. As will the Pilot Sport 4s' in...
  16. Anybody find Drilled/Slotted Rotors for GT PP 390mm Brembo's Thank You

This why I asked! I don't track my car. Never have, probably never will. But there are those that do, and will want to, track theirs; so for those of us who are maybe not quite as familiar with the more competitive racing and track day side of things, it's still good to know if there are...
  17. Anybody find Drilled/Slotted Rotors for GT PP 390mm Brembo's Thank You

Is there some reason for this other than the drilling? Because they do offer a set that are slotted only.
  18. $128,000 for a supercharger !!!

They just got excited, anticipating all the extra money they are going make if they can fix it so you can't work on your own car anymore. 😁
  19. RMMR is only a week away! Who's going?

I probably won't get there until Friday evening for the banquet, but will have my car in the display only section for the show n' shine on Saturday. Looking forward to getting out there for a visit again!
