Chafed? Really?
C'mon! I feel like that's maybe just a slight exaggeration. I mean, for me it's actually, dare I say, amusing listening to the GT vs DH argument day in and day out. (That horse apparently has no plans to die regardless of how badly it gets beat!)
At least we can...
Ford gave up on the VooDoo. Blow one under warranty now and Ford sends a Predator block with VooDoo internals.
I'll probably catch some crap for saying this, but the Gen 1's were hot garbage, and despite a ton of improvements the Gen 2 was still a ticking time bomb. Sure they sound like...
I have a '24 Dark Horse and I had to remove the screen to access to screws behind it in order to remove that panel.
Somewhere along the line, they've made a change and that no longer seems to be the case. I believe that now you can just pull on that panel to remove it.
This should give you and...
Labor wise, it looks real similar to what the Ford collision center here quoted me to paint a fiberglass hood and blend the fenders. $4300 total.
I told them they were crazy and took the car elsewhere.
The body shop that is actually doing the work quoted me $1700 and have called me everyday...
In terms of horsepower, I guess I've never really felt that just a CAI or exhaust changes post catastrophic converter are going to provide much more than a 'placebo' effect in the seat of your pants. Yeah they probably do add a few more horsepower, but the average person isn't likely to notice...

Maybe I heard wrong, but I thought they said he was 58 on the video. My gawd man! He done pickled himself! My 76yr old father almost looks younger than this guy.
'Elite' makes it sound like they're trying to get you for more than the $35 or $39 (Can't remember what exactly they soaked me for last time) for the regular OnX app...
Yeah, I understand that.
I wasn't suggesting that you put the mesh in.
I was suggesting that you watch the video I posted, so that you could see how to cut the existing mesh out of the intakes to get the DH style opening, while maintaining a quality appearance, at pretty much ZERO cost...
Check out this video from CustomCarGrills.com
What they're showing you in the video is how to modify your existing grill to accept, and install, their custom mesh.
Obviously you don't need to worry about a lot of that, but it is a pretty detailed video and will show you what and where to cut to...
