One reason for a refresh would be to address things people don't like about the car. One of those things is price. We know that won't change, but Ford could upgrade the quality of interior materials to be more in line with what they charge for the car.

There are tons of threads in the 6G Mustang forum about suspension mods. Handling can definitely be improved, but as has been said there really isn't much that can be done to improve steering feel.

Pulling the bigger engines out of vehicles is primarily driven by fuel economy and emission standards. I suspect many customers want the Coyote over Ecoboost engines due to reliability rather than power.

Agree. I think a 4-door Mustang would create some buzz and could be an overall positive. Given the styling of the S650 hasn't grown on me much, perhaps the added practicality of a 4-door could be enough to consider replacing my S550.

Besides being available in a manual, what makes the Blackwing interesting to me is that it's built on the same platform as the gen 6 Camaro, which reviewers generally find to be better handling and more engaging to drive than the Mustang. Too bad it comes with a turbo V6 instead of an NA V8.
