  1. Windshield Wipers Recall Campaign Be Aware

Well, my car failed the test so the dealership ordered the part. No ETA for it. I don't much care when it gets done, though. I live in a warm weather climate so it's unlikely it would be an issue.
  2. Just got a recall 2024 Mustang - 26C40 ENGINE HARNESS GROUND EYELET REPLACEMENT

I received an email yesterday from Carfax on this recall for my '26, but it's not showing up in my Ford app yet. This past week I took mine in for the windshield wiper recall. They inspected it and said it failed the test. Ordered parts but no ETA for getting them.
  3. chasing my tail and it's driving me nuts

I'm quite certain the commenting would have stopped if not for post #106. :)
  4. Windshield Wipers Recall Campaign Be Aware

I contemplated calling the dealer and telling them a Star Trek fan on the Internet says their test won't work, but I'm going to keep my appointment. :) If they can't get the parts until Spring so be it.
  5. Windshield Wipers Recall Campaign Be Aware

Different situations call for different procedures. Obviously, Ford was not able to pinpoint exactly which cars need the wiper motor replacement without testing. Why incur the cost of replacing all of them if there's a good chance a significant % will pass the test?
  6. Windshield Wipers Recall Campaign Be Aware

Obviously there was a communication problem in your case. My dealer texted me. Are you sure your text came from Ford? That seems highly unusual.
  7. HAIL STORM IN FLAT ROCK TOTALING 105 MUSTANGS!!!

At this point I'm pretty confident that some newly built Mustangs must have been taken out by that hailstorm. Sorry to hear about yours. There's been some skepticism about 105 cars being totaled since a media story about it has not been found.
  8. Windshield Wipers Recall Campaign Be Aware

It's common sense they wouldn't replace the motor automatically since they are testing to verify whether replacement is needed. My dealer explained this in advance of making my appointment for the test.
  9. chasing my tail and it's driving me nuts

What does that have to do with the Tremec transmission?
  10. Steeda Magneride Sport Progressive Springs installed - review & photos

I think the springs may have settled some since the install in June. Still very happy with the ride and handling.
  11. Cool Daily Random S650 Mustang Pics -- Post Yours! 📸

Depending on what is parked next to you at a car meet, our cars can look pretty big. :)
  12. chasing my tail and it's driving me nuts

That sounds like a nice choice. The only plug I would still have for a Dark Horse is the Tremec transmission is better than the MT82 in the GT. The question is how much more would you have to pay to get it, which depends on how good of a deal you can find on a DH. (You wouldn't need one with the...
  13. What tires will fit on stock ride hide on factory pp wheels?

You can probably go 285 rear, 265 front, but if you really want better performance and/or looks you should get wider wheels.
  14. Steeda Trident Wheels – Strength, Lightweight Performance, and the Right Fit for Your Mustang

Nice wheels! I had them on my S550 in 19x10.
  15. Cool Daily Random S650 Mustang Pics -- Post Yours! 📸

Met up with a bunch of other Mustangs before doing the Laps for Charity event at Texas Motor Speedway. I was parked next to a Shelby Centennial Edition. First time to see one.
  16. chasing my tail and it's driving me nuts

I'm 65 and I have the same options, except mine is an auto. I don't regret getting the premium or the performance options. Love the car. I try not to think about how much I paid for it. 😁
