  1. Next gen Mustang (8th gen) will stay gas-powered ICE well into 2030's

Nobody has made a car that can be ICE or battery on the same chassis without severe compromises. I doubt that would be any different if they tried.
  2. Early oil change message

Driving hard means beating it up on the street or doing auto x or something? Also the Dodge and Ford OLM aren't the same, of course.
  3. Early oil change message

How long has it been? If it's been close to a year the computer will want it changed. But only a year....it's fine, just reset it again
  4. 1K HP Club for the Lethal Performance DarkHorse!!

Not a lot of reason to floor it below that or dyno it at that low of RPM (and some dynos have problems measuring that low), so most pulls start at higher rpm
  5. Least Expensive Performance Upgrades?

Not going to help with 4400 pounds
  6. Does 5.0 coyote performance improve with octane?

A lot of tuners have noticed how much S650 performance dies off on the stock tune as the car heats up
  7. 1,369 WHP 2024 Mustang Dark Horse by Evolution Performance / Whipple / HP Tuners / Lund Racing

Because the Whipple tune was hotter, and the gen 6 blower was a tiny bit better. But, what does that have to do with the car that was posted? OP posted a built motor car with a fuel system, aftermarket tune, E85, and asked "What are you guys thinking about this?"
  8. 1,369 WHP 2024 Mustang Dark Horse by Evolution Performance / Whipple / HP Tuners / Lund Racing

Easy buddy. The point is this is doing the same thing as Gen 3 cars did The s650 whipple cars did without because they didn't have any options. Nobody had to bother with the stuff they did because they had the option of tuning from the start. But this car has all the stuff they didn't have...
  9. Has anyone enlarged their air filter front grill openings filter inlet?

Opening that stuff up never seems to do much
  10. Gasoline Prices

A gas station (such as BP) can still add additives to their gas that meet or exceed "Top Tier" gas standards, they just don't want to pay the money for the stickers to put on their pumps
  11. Gasoline Prices

I put it in my jeep but I haven't tried it in the Mustang. It's "top tier" but that's just detergent additive package, it has nothing to do with octane. I'd want to put a tank in and drive around and watch for knock.
  12. Gasoline Prices

I don't really count Costco or Sam's club gas stations. They are easily 20-30 cents lower than regular stations. Same as counting Kroger gas with your fuel points.
  13. Catch Cans - Do They Really Do Anything Beneficial?

think about all the work trucks etc with Coyotes in them, do they not go 200k without catch cans? And all the crown Vic's etc with 4.6 before then? also the Coyote has port and direct injection so the port injection keeps the backs of the valves clean just like before the Coyote had DI it's a...
  14. Catch Cans - Do They Really Do Anything Beneficial?

It will capture the water/oil vapor in the vacuum lines How beneficial that is, is debatable
