  1. Mustang Road Trips - Grand Touring - Australia

Hefty fines and the points system will have you off the road in no time. And Aussie cops are worse than ours. Vicious.
  2. Something is Broken in the Automotive Industry

So damn everyone in the trade because you ran into two arseholes? Hardly fair is it? Anyway, points have been made.
  3. Something is Broken in the Automotive Industry

I hate the modern safety nannies with a passion. Excluding ABS, none of us have the skill to modulate brakes properly in an emergency in traffic. The last near miss I had several years ago would have been a real crash if my car had autonomous emergency braking. If you need the nannies to save...
  4. Something is Broken in the Automotive Industry

That's a tad harsh. I spent 5 years doing my mechanics apprenticeship on low wages while I was being trained in order to be a qualified, capable fixer of peoples vehicles. I thought it was a "real" job. How stupid of me. As for EV's reliability? Wait and see. Tesla hasn't done so well, and dead...
  5. My 2025 Mustang Mystichrome RTR Spec 3 is here!!!!

Jeez, I'm not letting my wife see that! She'd order one online.
  6. That awesome exhaust note!

    You're a cruel man. 😁
  7. Experience with Recaro seats?

Well maybe, but you really need to spend a couple of hours in them. I can't think of any cars seats I've owned that were painful though.
  8. Shifting to Manual Mode while driving

Trust me, we never stop doing stupid shit.
  9. That awesome exhaust note!

I never did crap like that. First in line got the fine.
  10. Richard Hammond Drives The Ford Mustang Darkhorse

Any excuse to drive it will do. "Forgetting" to pick something up is a good one. Driving to get the pet food instead of couriering is another.
  11. Mustang Road Trips - Grand Touring - Australia

Not a lot of waving over here either. But I did get a good deal on a new fireplace from an S550 owner 😁
  12. Experience with Recaro seats?

A lot of our roads have a Tail of the Dragon section, we're a very hilly country. I suppose they'll never design a seat that suits all our different shapes and sizes.
  13. Experience with Recaro seats?

I like the stock seats, they're a smidgeon wide for me being built for the average 'merican, but they still support quite well in the twisty's and they are bloody comfy.
  14. Worth Upgrading from 19s to 20s? Ride Comfort Feedback Wanted

It's about sidewall height and rigidity, it may not ride worse, better is a long shot
  15. Comparison Test: Mustang GTD Takes on 911 GT3 RS

I see. Not exactly a gated shift then?
  16. Shifting to Manual Mode while driving

Just like pulling it inadvertently into manual and wondering why it's holding first. Bloody Ford shifters.😉
  17. Battery tender options for storage?

And cold starting adds contaminants which will be distributed around the engine and not burnt off, as they would with a drive at normal temps. If you're not going to drive it for 6 months or so, you can pull the plugs, inject 10 mls of engine oil into each cyl and spin it on the starter. Like...
  18. Low Speed Shake after Changing to All Season Tires

I would have suggested delamination of the tread layer, but unless the Contis were bad too that would discount that. Very weird, I wonder if it's the tread pattern "walking" under deformation when rolling.
