Fuel economy and durability are probably the most important to me. I'd be going with the 10-speed if I get the GT, but I think this time I'd also go for the 3.55 ratios/gearing over the default 3.17. In my experience test driving GTs, I feel like that setup has been smoother from standstill...

This will likely be blasphemous, but I'd consider a Bullitt...with an automatic transmission, and without the excessive Bullitt branding. If anything I'd just like a Mustang in dark green that isn't Eruption Green, but metallic.

So I've been thinking (dangerous I know)...why get a Lexus RC when I can get a fully loaded Subaru Legacy for considerably less? The only drawbacks I see on the Legacy are the CVT and the less luxurious interior. And in exchange I get an actually usable backseat and sleeper quality exterior...

I'd like to see a non-PP, non-NP GT just to see if the grill will still be gloss black or if it'll be flat black (not really a make or break decision for me, I'm just curious is all).

Weird question for anyone who knows: Does the GT get the gloss black grill by default or is it limited to the GT Performance Pack/Nite Pony Appearance Package this time around? (I wouldn't mind having a GT with a flat black grill personally, but I'm just curious at this point.)

I just woke up from a two hour nap where I dreamt I ordered a Mustang GT (not sure which spec), and it was a strange, long, drawn out process where my receipt came in the form of a large, folded up, blueprint style map. If that's telling me to preorder a Mustang, it's a very odd way to do so.

It's only today I realized I made a BIG typo in my intro post for this thread. It's corrected now, but I test drove the Lexus RC350 F-Sport with rear-wheel-drive. That means it had the eight-speed automatic, whereas the AWD version has the six-speed. Now for the next set of questions on my mind...

That Space Gray interior though...looks closer to white, but it should be much cooler during the hot summer days than the usual Black Onyx interior. Now I'm just waiting to see what Space Gray looks like in cloth and 400A leather.

Personally I like the heavier steering (Sport mode) on the Mustang. The Lexus also had nice steering, connected if a little light on effort.

Funnily enough, I believe the 2017 Mustang had White Platinum as an option. If that, Star White Metallic, or something new in that vein becomes available from 2025 onward I'll likely go with one of those. (Unless they come out with Gotta Have It Green, a metallic dark green that isn't Eruption...

If I end up getting an Oxford White Mustang, I'd consider getting it wrapped with a metallic or pearl finish. I don't know how much that will cost though so I'm hoping there are more engaging colors that come out for 2025/2026 (a metallic white or metallic light or dark green would be great)...

If only they had a 360 view for the exterior as well...and possibly a daylight view too. But that might be asking for too much.

I for one LOVE how it sounds! If the GT with Active Exhaust sounds anything like that, it's going to be harder for me to pass this one up (for context I'm considering a Lexus RC300 or Subaru Legacy if I don't get the Mustang GT).

A shame they're getting rid of the digital print as well. I enjoyed having the physical print form to refer to when an online configurator isn't immediately available.

It's important if you're sensitive to sound or if you want to be courteous towards others who are sensitive to sound. From my experience it adds a deeper, bass-ier sound from the exhaust. That's all I can really tell you.
