Anyone here play Beamng.drive with an S650 Mustang mod, by chance? Personally I think it looks and plays worse than the Assetto Corsa mod, but sounds absolutely brutal. That said, in Beamng you can customize the car color freely, and now I'm conflicted with how the GT looks in dark green...

My only nitpick with the videos is the 'Stang sounds like it's packing a flat-plane V8 at high-RPMs.

Personally I'm "meh" towards the R32 and R35, but I love(d) the R33 and R34 (thank Gran Turismo 2 for that). Oh, before I forget, does this mod replace the Mustang that's already in the game, or is it its own car?

Somewhat off topic, but I'm just glad the S650 didn't take the Nissan GT-R route. They just revealed the '24 GT-R earlier this evening and while I like how they refreshed it (the base moreso than the Nismo), 16-17 years of the same car is a bit long in the tooth, no? Imagine if the original S197...

Where does one get the non-VR mod, and how does one install it in to Steam? (Or is this top secret privileged information only?)

I just want to see either the DeBerti Mustang GT or the 2013 Boss 302 back in Horizon 5 if they're just going to port older cars to it. Or in the next Motorsport. I just wonder if the next Motorsport will try to go as hardcore drivesim as Assetto Corsa Competizione or if it'll be more accessible...

(Meanwhile I sit in my Mustang obliviously yet genuinely believing they're the most comfortable supportive cloth seats ever.)

Personally I doubt the S650 makes it to Horizon, but I'd be ecstatic if we got it in Motorsport AND it sounded authentic to real life.

I hope S750 still has a V8 option by the time it comes out.

The new Prius looks promising if the media's first drives are anything to go by. That'd be my pick if my heart wasn't so interested in a Mustang GT or some more interesting-sounding non-4-cylinder vehicle.

(sigh) If only we could all afford or finance the car of our dreams without worrying about debt or the like...myself especially included.

While being a direct challenger to the Charger would be nice, I was wondering if a proper Mustang sedan would be better off as a mid-sized sedan as opposed to a full-size one.

Going off topic on an already off topic thread of my own making, the Mustang will likely be the last "affordable" V8 sports car before the EVs take over the world, won't it? (I can't think of any other V8 powered car under $50K, let alone $100K.)

NO UR UGLY 🤬 Just kidding, but despite the refresh not looking as technically cohesive as the original, I still find the refresh less boring (for lack of a better term) than the original.

The only thing I can think of is to pipe some sound to resemble acceleration and/or maintaining speed inside the car. Whether that sound resembles various V8s from the Mustangs over the years, or an orchestra of adorable kittens meowing...just something energetic to keep me wide awake on a long...

I'd go with '13-'14 Boss 302 gauges personally.
