All of the EU/UK Ford fobs are now, but that doesn't mean the US made ones are!

About 3 or 4 months from build to delivery in the UK for the S550 when I got mine in 2019. They only have around 1k unscheduled orders in the US at the moment so a February order could well be built in March / April for delivery in June.

Ford Pass is no use for tracking a car. Even the most dim witted thief will know a Sync master reset will disconnect Ford Pass. I assume (but don't know) the S650 keys go to sleep now if not moved to prevent relay theft? certainly all European Fords have this type of key now.

It really isn't a slushbox in the way old torque convertors were. The torque convertor remains locked up during gear changes so it isn't very different from a DCT when up and running.

OK How do you 'flash' the PCM on a Ford? Do you know? What is involved, how long does it take, and how much are you going to charge (remember the dealer has to pay somebody to do it as well as licensing Ford IDS software). What do you have to do after a PCM reflash? Maybe after you have...

Only if the hardware and firmware support it. Try 'flashing' sync2 hardware with sync3 software and see where you get too. If you look at Ford car modules you will see a hardware ID level and a software / firmware ID level for each module on each car. These also all interact with each other...

You are assuming there are no control system changes for the A10 (not the same as hardware changes in the gearbox). There is no certainty that any changes could be retro fitted to the S550 and even if they could who is going to pay to reflash every gearbox plus fix the small percentage of cars...

Would it be better to extend the panel you have created to use some of the existing fixings nearer the edge, such as the circular hole top right?

UK dealer demos are expected to be delivered in April, so production around now fits in with that. UK orders shouldn't be too much longer ...
