No car has EVER been designed to do this. No car has been designed to do half of this! There have been cars that manage this but the vast majority don't. If you want that sort of resilience you will need to pay a lot more money for your cars! 4 speed gearbox! Wow 'get me horse'!

The difference is I have an opinion based on a Mustang with Magneride, as do the other posters above. You seem to be arguing against yourself suggesting that the magneride (Z06) is great, but then Mustang people are too stupid to notice the difference. I will leave it for others to decide on...

Erm Magneride is ideal for general road use, so just the opposite of what you are saying! Certainly doesn't make it harder to sell here, it helps the car to sell second hand!

Don't waste your time as the OEM sub is rubbish. You may be able to find an oem enclosure from somewhere but realistically an aftermarket option is better.

Mines a daily and gets used rather than looked at.

I did mine 5 years ago and it is still completely secure and is not off centre. Retained original grille etc as per S550 thread.
