  1. Anyone else struggled deciding between EcoBoost and GT for daily driver?

That's cool. I get around 20mpg cumulative, but I'm mainly a city driver. I think I fuel every 2-3 weeks.
  2. Anyone else struggled deciding between EcoBoost and GT for daily driver?

How often do you fuel up the GT compared to the EcoBoost?
  3. I Need a S650 BULLITT

I just want a green Mustang GT, something I can daily commute with day in, day out.
  4. Mr Jim Farley - Hear Me Out...

At this point I don't even know if Farley or Ford knows what they actually want for Ford going forward. (...Mustang EREV to replace the EcoBoost?)
  5. BoostRabbitGT test drives Mustangs and other cars in this thread.

Okay, one more redundant post, because I think today's experience puts a nice little bow on top of all the test drives I've recorded in this thread. Today I test drove a somewhat lightly driven S550 GT Premium without the Performance Pack. If there's any advantage the S550 has over the S650 for...
  6. Ford to reveal all-new road-going race car on January 15... GT500 successor?!

I'd take one if it was legitimately (and metaphorically) bulletproof.
  7. Official Adriatic Blue Metallic Mustang S650 Thread

It'll likely be even longer for me. But who knows?
  8. S650 Refresh: What You Want To See

😏 Something refreshing...but that might be asking for too much.
  9. 2026 Mustang Build and Price Site Is Up!

I want to apologize for all my complaining about prices going up. The past few years I've been playing with the configurator, spec-ing my dream GT, it's almost always come around to $55K tops, give or take. Still can't afford to get it, but I guess how I'm configuring it is consistent, I suppose.
  10. Where does the 'brand' go from here?

You're not wrong about the Mustang compared to other vehicles in its segment. I'm probably just stuck in 2019 when a base GT could be had for $35-40K. How the times have changed.
  11. Where does the 'brand' go from here?

When I think premium, I think back to the '90s when Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth and Ford/Lincoln/Mercury were a thing (I want to say the closest thing we have to this today is Buick/Cadillac/Chevrolet). For this example, Ford is the affordable/mainstream brand, Mercury would've been premium, and...
  12. Where does the 'brand' go from here?

If we're talking Ford, they need to figure out if they want to be a mainstream or premium brand. Their quality isn't premium and their pricing isn't mainstream (in my opinion). If we're talking Mustang as a brand, keep the coupe, actually make the Mach-4 (ideally call it something else), and/or...
  13. Hybrid Mustang (S650E) is on the Horizon!

I'm going to ask something that will sound cheeky initially. (TLDR: EcoBoost hybrid or GT hybrid?) Let's say the Mustang gets a hybrid variant, but instead of going with the 5.0 they go with the EcoBoost for whatever reason. Do they make it like an unexpected fun performance paradox of a...
  14. Hybrid Mustang (S650E) is on the Horizon!

Eh, I'll reserve my hype for official reveals going forward. Between this and the Mach-4, no sense getting excited anymore for potential projects/products.
  15. Next gen Mustang (8th gen) will stay gas-powered ICE well into 2030's

Interesting. Would you happen to know why the E90 M3 sedan retailed $10K less than the coupe? (besides the sunroof/cf roof)
  16. Next gen Mustang (8th gen) will stay gas-powered ICE well into 2030's

(shrugs) I gotta prioritize more important things in life right now. Just how it is.
  17. Next gen Mustang (8th gen) will stay gas-powered ICE well into 2030's

Same, but with an automatic or DCT for me, and I'll be ready to buy one a few years if not decades from now. 🤪
  18. What do you think of this deal?

I believe 3.73 is available on GT PP.
  19. S650 Mid Cycle Refresh

As a quick aside, how long do you guys think it'll be until $40K becomes the new "affordable" price point for cars in general? (If that isn't already considered it right now.)
