For 3K I would make it sound like a GT from the inside at the minimum. That would be more worth it than what seems nothing more than a graphics package.

Do you think we'll ever see the return of budget/value car brands in the future? That is, new/revived brands with cars specifically made for the demographic willing to spend, I don't know, $10K-30K tops for a new car...or is that a dream long gone for the US market due to tech/safety regulations?

Excellent review! I think you hit it spot-on with how the handling feels in the S650 GT compared to the S550 GT. (Weirdly enough the S650 EcoBoost felt identical in steering effort in comparison to the S550 EcoBoost, so I don't know why they couldn't carry that over for the GT.)
