When I first heard about it, I thought it was corny for sure, but I also guarantee you that I would 100% use it if I was able to (if I get one, it will be a manual). :) It would be an easy way to get consistent before and after audio clips after exhaust installs.
Let's hope they can actually get the wheel gap right from the factory and save us all a couple hundred bucks in lowering springs. I don't understand why it's so difficult for some manufacturers to get right; Porsche and BMW seem to be about the only two that can consistently get factory wheel...
I don’t mind the screens, I just don’t really care for the overall design of the interior and how they were implemented, but I’ll reserve judgement until I can sit in one myself.
These cars are definitely getting up there in price, especially the higher end variants. 70K is C8 territory, assuming you can get an order in or want to wait.
And yes, I know they're two different types of cars, but if you don't need back seats and can handle a DCT versus a manual...
So please enlighten me, then. What exactly am I missing?
You brought up that the S650 isn't really all new, and I agreed with you...
You brought up the 03 Cobra and I pointed out that it took 4 years AFTER a redesign to come out, so Ford may very well have something up their sleeves...
You...
I get what you're saying in that the change from S550 to S650 aren't really enough to qualify as "all-new," nor is there anything that will absolutely blow anyone away in the sense of the C8 Z06, but we have to have some context here. While the S550 was all-new, the hp gain was marginal at...
It looks better to me in black than any other color we've seen because it really helps clean up the front end with the eye makeup, gloss black, and matte black.
It would be cool if the Ford Performance packs included an 8,000 RPM redline (assuming it made sense). Since all the gauges are digital, they could reprogram the dash to reflect the higher redline.
It could be a pipe dream though...
Like everyone else has said, the power numbers look good, though a 14 hp bump from GT to DH is a little surprising (underwhelming?). Besides the Tremec, what else does the DH have that the GT doesn't? Does it come with extra coolers and such? I suppose that's easy research that I'll try to go...
I've been waiting to see a Dark Horse in black, and it looks pretty good. I still wish the eye black wasn't there, but whatever--I'm sure the aftermarket will come up with some good solutions.
That makes sense, I suppose, but unfortunately it just doesn’t work for me. I think the front end would look great if that piece just wasn’t there and it was a body colored section of the front fascia like on the GT and Ecoboost. It’s not completely hideous to me, it just is a bit needlessly...
Yep, though it won’t look as clean as if they just ditched the eye makeup to begin with because of the extra lines involved in putting the pieces there.
I just don’t get what the designers were going for there, and I haven’t met anyone that genuinely thinks it looks good. I like the design of...
I agree, but the problem is the eye make up looks terrible IMO, and it’s especially bad on lighter colors. It looks really good in this picture because it blends in with the color really well.
I wish the black accents at the bottom of the front fascia (the ones above the bottom corner vents) were glossy on the real car. It looks better that the regular black plastic on the actual car, IMO.
The rear diffuser looks pretty good in gloss black, too.
