Hmmm.....You can try MAK Performance. PBD(Palm Beach Dyno), I think Metro Ford is now doing performance parts installs....Kendall Ford does installs of Ford Performance parts.
Did a quick Google search and found Florida High Performance. Specialties Performance and Franks Auto Shop as well.
Installed the Pioneer sub to the stock location. Pioneer D10DD4. Amazing what a good sub can do for your music. Running off the stock amps, it sounds really incredible. It's all I need. This weekend, I will get my dashcams installed.
Well, I have 325s out back and a lot of mods to stop wheel hop and grip. So yes, I squat and go. HARD. It can surprise you how hard I can come out of a turn.
But that's what I set it up for! Tremec btw.
Prepping for a few mods. I had my Dashcams come in: Elite 10 from Darkvue; also, my speaker mods showed up. I should have the new sub tomorrow. So I'll get those things installed. Should not be a big deal, though getting in rear space with the cage may be a bit harder than it should be. I may...
The car ran once with the original equipment, and the temps were high. The recommendations were the coolers, the pan, and the hood. This combo would lower the temps significantly.
I have not run this setup yet, but I can tell that with just some spirited driving on the highways of S. Florida...
@Dark Sprite : The one kit is in the DH original location. The other is on the other side. Steeda did the install. There is more room because I also have a full-road-race K-member from Steeda.
Update: I guess I should explain this a bit better. The second is on the other side, inward to the...
No issues with rain, and I do have a rain tray that I can put in. Even with the tray in, the car does move air from the engine bay well. Of course, it is more efficient with the tray out.
For the oil mods, I have:
MMR Mustang GT oil cooler kit
Mishimoto MMOC-DP* SSL Oil cooler
1. Great.
2. Good investment
3. Ford Performance gets the job done. If you have a DH handling pack, you're good to go, depending on power levels
4. CF driveshaft one-piece will do the job.
5. I run 325 out back. Goodyear F1 Supercar 3R. (track/street tire)
6. Hmmm. I have spoken to several...
Yes, it is designed to reduce temps and add downforce. That, with oil cooler mods and the Ford Performance racing oil pan, will bring the oil temps way down as well.
I have not done a full session since putting on the hood; my feedback is from Steeda. I will say, running the car hard on the...
The ride is not much stiffer at all. I do not notice it. In regular mode, you would not notice the difference. I guess the Magnaride has a lot to do with that. In Sport, there is a little notice. In track is where you take notice. It is not super stiff, but you know you are in track mode. I also...
Looks very nice. I love my Steeda springs; ultimate handling for the Magnaride setup. At first, I thought it to be to low. I have gotten used to it now, and it does make me more aware of my surroundings.
Headers will allow more volume of air to flow freely out of the system. It will also change the note of the vehicle. From my experience, tuning around headers has not been a factor.
I am 6-4.5. I also use my side mirrors. In my 24 DH, I had to move the mirror down, articulate the stem, and move it up over the protrusion, then adjust it at the mirror so I could see. No issues now.
When I was shopping to replace my 2021 GT500, I had the intention of purchasing a GT350. But as I looked around, finding a GT350 with GEN 2, at a reasonable price point, was not happening. I refused to pay 100k for a 7~8+ year old platform. Also, I found that someone in our Mustang group had a...
