OP, it really depends on what has the most value to you. I mostly drive my Mustang to and from the race track, and very little cruising in between. To me, the Recaro is the best option to keep my body from sliding left and right under lateral G loading. It's Not Good like a Proper Race Seat +...
Hello all,
I am trying to figure out the various Magneride calibrations for different cars and validate with the experts in the group that my findings are right.
1- S550: PP1
2-S550: GT-350, PP2, Mach 1 is the same calibration
3-S550: GT-350R
4-S550: GT-500
5-S650: PP is the same as S550 PP1...
One of driver aids (which you can disable) is called "hill start assist". You can look it up in Ford literature. I just learned that automatic cars also had it.
Does anyone know whether the 2024 GT PP has the same front calipers as the S550 generation? Literature seems to indicate larger rotors but I'm not sure about the calipers themselves, thanks.
They will be fine. My (then) 17 year old daughter learned to drive on my manual 2019 GT with a track suspension. These modern gearboxes are so easy there's really nothing to worry about. It will even hold the car stationary when you are stopped in an uphill. Rev match for downshifts...pedal...
Love it! First time I see actual pics of what my car will look like. I was afraid it would be more gray than blue. Love to see one without NPP. I'd like a glossy hood vent but the rest is exactly how I like it. The wheels look great too! Congrats!
Just saw my first ever S650 Mustang last night. A rapid red GT Premium convertible automatic with PP, AE, NPP, spoiler delete, red interior, black calipers at a dealership. The window sticker said "special order"
White is a traditional Ford racing color, red always looks good on a Mustang. I like both colors. I picked vapor blue because it is unusual but I tought it would be bluer and less gray. I had a black s550 that looked amazing, but only because I spent ridiculous time keeping it extra clean and...
I see. I don't mind a bit of poke either so long as it never rubs on the fender. The pic I posted is +26mm offset, 1.75 inch lowered, 11 inch wheel with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. I don't think I could have fitted it closer to the strut (about 4mm clearance), and I had signs it rubbed on the...
Could you please share the offsets for your wheels? I had no idea you could fit 355s on this car. My 2019 had 305 square setup on 11 inch wheels, and it was really close to the front strut and hard to tuck in the fender (see my pic has a bit of poke but the tire tucked in when the suspension was...
I tracked and AX my 2019 base GT manual for a total of 40 track hours without any issues.
I lowered the car, added camber plates and upgraded the front sway bar. I installed the big Brembos from the PP with track pads, and fitted 305-30-19 tires on all 4 corners and it was fine.
I'll do the...
Speaking of phone slots, I wonder if this one will keep asking me if I want to connect the phone to the car like my s550 did. Even after years of plugging it for a charge it still asked me every time if I wanted to connect/pair and I found it annoying.
I would buy a band new 60k car and wave the warranty for a couple thousand dollars discount if I could. I do not have a single positive warranty story to tell. I would care about warranties if I had a lot of free time and an argumentative personality. The last time a dealer sees me is the day I...
That would be great if you did, as I also plan a day one install. My car will be used on the track mostly. I won't have mine until much later: I ordered a month ago. Cheers!
I'm upgrading from a 2019 base GT. I did a dyno tune and changed some things in the suspension and wheels for Autocross and Time Attack. As a result it was very uncomfortable on the street. It was destroyed in a collision with a drunk driver on the highway on my way to an Autocross event.
I...
