No communication at all. I asked for an update on my order and they told me I would have it in 3 weeks. Incredulous, I asked for the VIN and they gave it to me!
In their defense, they did manage my expectations when I ordered the car. They told me it would take anywhere between 6-8 months to get...
Vorshlag also tested the K&N filters for their Dark Horse and it consistently dynoed 3hp less than stock.

I will also recommend the GT PP (+magneride) for track duties over the DH. Here's my reasons:
1- No matter the car selected, the stock wheels will come off for lighter weight (flow formed or forged) 11 inch square rotatable mounted on GT4 studs.
2- I've never had the slightest issue with the...
From Ford media site:
"Powered by Ford Performance know-how, the Coyote engine was upgraded even further to produce 500 horsepower, delivering its most powerful naturally aspirated V8 yet. These upgrades include a uniquely balanced crankshaft and forged piston connecting rods – the latter first...
I was drawing the same amount (1 tbsp) for every hour of track time (mostly 2nd and 3rd gears >5000 rpm) on a 10k-20k miles Gen 3.
I'm getting a passenger side UPR can for my 2024 for sure.
Do you guys find the mpg gauge on the car to be accurate?
I don't pay attention to it. I reset the trip counter when I fill up and do the math at next fill up to get my mpg.
I could get consistent 27.5 mpg @ 75 mph with a dyno tuned but otherwise stock manual 2019 GT coupe with 3.55 gears and...
True. But I think it
Me too. We can always wrap it. I will never own an EV, even if they give it to me for free. My time on Earth is finite, I will make every mile count!
I don't understand how the BMW can possibly be faster on straight line tests with 100hp and 50tq less, same weight, and narrower tires. It makes no sense. Did the mustang have a poor driver and the BMW an exceptionally good one? Or was it the gearbox that made the difference ? I don't understand...
I had a 2019 GT that I tracked with an MT82 D4. Loved it. I don't doubt it's not as rugged as the Tremec, but it was fast and smooth and trouble free for me. I did not drag race and I did not go out of my way to force gear shifts. I did get the occasional 2nd to 3rd difficulty (maybe 5 times in...
I hope this never happens, then it just becomes an American Audi. I guess if it's optional it can perhaps keep the Mustang afloat longer, is this what you mean?
This is so true. I watch YouTube videos and expect to see excellent gear changes but it almost never happens. Very few people have driven a few hundred thousand miles with a stick and lived with that way of driving every day to the point it is almost as fast as a DCT and super smooth every time...
You know, I look at the FP800S with 800 HP and some suspension and aero goodies. The Dark Horse will (presumably) have even more.
This seems to me like S550 GT 500 playing field, give or take.
Which brings the question: What space will there be left for Shelby to fill?
More than 1000hp? More...
The performance pack tires are ridiculously undersized for a powerful and heavy car like your mustang in all but commuting or drifting situations. With that much power and weight, you will be better served with tires that have a 3 for their first digit, in all four corners, if you enjoy...
the initial oil filter a high-five, then replace it.
Do they still use an undersized FoMoCo initial factory filter like they did for the S550 (pic below)?
This week in the news they were saying that the American economy was still growing despite the interest rate hikes.
Could you please share what makes you say it's not going on the right direction? I'm not in the US so it's not easy to get the right information.
