  1. Still deciding Dark Horse HP-6sp vs SC

I'm confused, it appears that the OP already has a DH. Are you just looking to upgrade to the HP, or is there more to it? Because you could probably do that with OE parts or aftermarket equivalents for less money than trading in and buying new.
  2. Used 2025 GT

$3500 is a nice hunk of change, but as you noted, you can get a better interest rate on a new car which would probably make up most of that over time. However, if it were me, I'd drive the used one to see if I could feel or notice any vibration (there is a good chance that they fixed it) and...
  3. Active Exhaust- Fake / Speaker Sound vs Real Engine Sound

This. It's also quite annoying in track mode at full throttle. We are using lots of acronyms, apologies. AE = Active Exhaust. An option on the V8 cars, it's a valve that opens and closes to change the volume of the exhaust sound. ESE = Exhaust Sound Enhancement. A fake sound through the...
  4. Looking to buy used 2024 GT: Is this a good deal?

Excellent advice, even on a car with just 8K miles. Any seller who won't let you do this has something to hide. Just to confuse the matter, I've bought cars after a PPI and had issues anyway, but nothing serious. And this car is under warranty, which is nice. 40k sounds OK, just make sure...
  5. Active Exhaust- Fake / Speaker Sound vs Real Engine Sound

AE, ANC & ESE are all different things that all work differently. I'll suggest, based on my personal experience, that all you need to do is code out the ESE. Doing so will not affect or void your warranty.
  6. I have a 2024 Mustang Dark Horse after a wash my Vinyl stripes were hard water spotted on one side. Has anyone experienced that issue?

I have one of those DI systems. It works, but it's kind of a PITA. And as noted, the replacement media is expensive. I wonder though, since the OP has some severe spotting already, if it's too late? It's not like he can polish it out.
  7. What did you do to your S650 Mustang today?? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Because I track it, and have an event scheduled in a few weeks. However, for my European cars, I flush the fluid every two years.
  8. What did you do to your S650 Mustang today?? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Not today but Saturday, flushed the brake fluid. Dang this car has a huge reservoir!
  9. To stripe or not to stripe...?

Ah. I had to reread your original post... I overlooked the "style". In the words of Emily Litella: never mind. :giggle:
  10. 25C43 Water Intrusion Recall

First, sorry to hear of your problems. Are you saying that the water toasted your BCM, then you had the recall done, and that the water from the earlier leak (or perhaps a new one) got into the ECM and toasted that, and now your BCM is bad again (which I read as an indication that the fix...
  11. To stripe or not to stripe...?

I rather like those RTR stripes, unique and subtle. My car isn't an RTR so of course I could never do that.
  12. Picking performance pack GT in Ohio this weekend?

Congrats on the new car! Enjoy the ride home.
  13. One of the most underrated things I added to my Mustang

I want to buy my next used car from one of you guys!
  14. Anyone regrats their DH purchase?

You can set up a "custom" setting that will turn off everything permanently (and remember it). Except for automatic braking - just like the Mustang, you'll have to turn that off at engine start. I've coded it off.
  15. Anyone regrats their DH purchase?

Some of us are old enough to remember driving and parking without cameras, remote electrically controlled mirrors, and parking sensors. Heck, I seek to recall driving a car with a manual transmission AND no power steering! How did we manage?
  16. DFB's Detailing Garage

I agree, that stuff is pretty good. I wonder why you chose to use it instead of a conventional bucket of soapy water and a hose. It's still warm there, isn't it? Or are you suffering through a water shortage? Woof. How cute!
  17. Carbonized Gray Touch Up Paint not matching

I've had good results from touchupdirect. Since they (I presume) mix up a micro batch of paint for each order, I can see where it could easily be off just a little bit. Metallic paint is even more difficult, as we all probably know. Thanks to this thread, when it comes time to do a touchup...
  18. Dark Horse vs Dark Horse Premium

I fit in them fine, it's just that I couldn't get out of them.
  19. Interesting addendum to my auto insurance, cars like the S650 Mustang are why...

First, keep in mind that insurance laws and regulations vary by state. And country. Second, CLUE keeps only 7 years of history, according to the insurance commissioner. See #1, above. However, your own insurance company probably keeps them much longer. Three, not everyone reports...
  20. Aux switches in a Mustang from the Bronco Sport?

You could use them to operate the sunroof. To put it in four wheel drive. Activate the winch. No, wait... this is a Mustang. Never mind.
