Not to digress too far... I was going to disagree with you about "falling apart" but we had two serious incidents of these takeovers here recently. Beatings, shootings, a bunch of kids attacked a police officer, kicking her when she was on the ground, just horrible stuff.
I was at a Costco recently and saw a woman just leave her cart in the middle of the parking lot. I said something to her, and she replied that it was too far away to return the cart.
I confess that I yelled at her. "It's right there!" The next aisle over was the corral. 20 ft., if that...
I'm a big time BMW fan, but you need to stay away from their electric cars. BMW themselves will not sell an extended warranty and the few good warranties available don't cover a lot of the expensive crap that fails.
Stay away from the DCT in the focus.
I'm guessing that a Blackwing is out...
That's pretty sweet! I used to have a pad spreader, but it appears that someone borrowed it and never returned it. That's why I hate loaning out tools.
I am a charter member of the long fat screwdriver club. 🪛
The worst brake job I can remember was on my Zupra, putting on track pads. The...
Who spelled mileage wrong twice, differently each time? LOL
I was going to do the oil analysis on my car, but then I thought, what would I do with the results?
In other words, if the results were bad, what could I do about it? It is to laugh if you think Ford would take action. They'll...
A woman that I used to work with bought her husband a Mustang as a surprise gift. Seems that he always wanted one.
Unfortunately, he wanted a GT, not an EB. And she got the color wrong. And probably the transmission.
Yeah, she's divorced now.
It seems like the OP is resisting advice to get more experience before upgrades.
But that's what should happen.
Then, after more experience and as speeds get higher, you'll see the need for better brake pads, better brake cooling, and camber plates.
A harness bar with 5-pt belts should be...
I saw a similar thing on the BMW forum, great looking wheels for about $300 each. Yes, as suggested and noted above, many 🇺🇸 vendors sell crap made in China. Some of it is fine. If you don't track the car and just cruise on the highway, it's probably adequate. I've seen aftermarket wheels...
First, my apologies for the slight differing of opinion.
Second, I think the OE pads on the DH are quite impressive.
I'm guessing that they are Brembo... but it's just a guess since I never took them off to look or replace.
Although the 'dog has some good advice above, I'm going to differ a bit. Tires make you faster but not a better driver. Good instruction and experience will make you a better driver. Don't worry so much about laptime per se and instead focus on smoothness and control. So...
Harness bar...
Some dealership managers make serious coin. Or perhaps he just married well.
Years ago some bloke told me that many race cars are white because it's easy to match the paint after some fender rubbing. So maybe that was the thinking.
I guess those perforated shift paddles are to save...
