The build quality of the red one is actually great. I hope this is the level customers can expect with their delivery.
But did Walter gave the presentation just this one guy? It sounded like it was a presentation to an audience but there's just noone around?
I really don't enjoy driving Challengers or Chargers. They have good power, but that's pretty much it. The soft ride, way too much weigth, etc is nice for cruising but you can't corner it at all. It feels like driving a boat on a road. Just not what I am looking for in a car.
I really hope these media cars are not the quality level for the final cars. trunk/rear panel alignment is still pretty bad. The line above the headlight between bumper, hood and body doesn't fit at all.
Who at Ford thought this was actually an improvement over the previous toggle switches?
No, I'm talking to the saftey regulations. Here's a link. If they directly head for a stage C homologation they can sell the car unchanged until mid-2029, otherwise if they go for current stage B they would have to add the adttions before mid-2026 which should be before a Gen 7 refresh is...
Fits the informations I got recently that ordering is pushed to early 2024 and delivery to "summer 2024". My personal guess is that with the new EU regulations in mid-2024 that demands tons of further standard equipment they will save homologation costs and just not build and sell cars before...
He doesn't get the point. Of course some functions make sense in a touchscreen. You don't need buttons to change radio station / music track. But a wheel to change the volume is better than any touchscreen motion for that. Same goes for some climate control buttons, I prefer any pyhsical button...
No, they won't pull the Mach-E thing especially since the real Camaro isn't selling at all, so rebadging something else into Camaro doesn't make sense. They have the Blazer EV SS, and it seems like Corvette will get an EV derivative
Motortrend is just guessing here. The only reliable source to Camaro stuff in MC&T. They were right with Camaro getting shelved, Camaro MY2024 last collectors edition, cancelled Gen 6 Z/28, etc. Here's what they say about a future EV Camaro:
What’s actually happening: there have been proposals...
Wait Ford finally came up with a builder that gives us really nice visuals? I really dig this build here, but I think custom silver or white stripes across the whole body would look way better.
You hit the nail on the head. The thing is: All of this costs money and time. A good edited 10 minute video can easily take 5-8 hours from writing a script, shooting to editing to being ready for release. A lot of Youtbers just get a gopro and start talking. Best example how not to do it is...
YouTube is always a fight against the algorythm. Since there are tons of big channels that will feature the new Mustang all the time, don't expect to suddenly be recommended by YouTube to anyone. The first big obstacle is reaching the necessary views and subs to actually become a partner (which...
That's what I ment, numbers on paper mean literally nothing since we are comparing two completely seperate measurements.
Comparing the C8 Stingray you get 502 hp for US Z51 models and 475 hp for EU Z51 models. Yet a guy I know who owns an US model compared it 1:1 with an EU model. They even...
Don't read too much into US vs EU horsepower numbers. EU regulations demand that the power is measured with a full GPF, a scenario that won't usally happen to your car if you use proper gasoline and drive the car how it should be driven.
On top for US Ford can use the best gas they find, for EU...
The base Performance Package is more or less a setup similiar to a base Camaro. If you want a track ready upgrade like 1LE you have to go for a Dark Horse. They introduced a Performance Package 2 with Gen 6 refresh which was quite similiar to 1LE, but they moved the package to a standalone model...
If you look closely at this recently spied DH you can see that they painted a small arrow to the misaligned gap of the trunk. I'm pretty sure they got enough feedback from multiple sources like their own testdrivers, hands on impressions on showcars and even internet forums that they are looking...
Found more pictures of the EU DH. Seems like the small spoiler we saw on the UK event is the real one we get on DH. To me the car really needs the big splitter and spoiler to work, otherwise the huge diffusor looks a bit out of place
