Really it's more about RPM...I can be at 5000 RPM at part throttle and still pushing a lot of boost. As you stated, a bypass/blow-off valve is required to prevent over pressure of the intake.
100% yes! Before I got them every time I drove around even on paved roads only I acquired new chips in the paint. These seem to mitigating that a lot. The first 2 pics are the front and the last 2 are the rear.
Edit: The best part is there is no drilling required. They simply slide into place...
The block should be able to handle 1000HP with no block stiffening upgrades and stock rotating assembly. Beyond that? I would find a good engine builder and ask them.
I wish you could set it to start with the track exhaust on. Ah well. Such is life. Quiet mode is crazy how it completely silences the exhaust. I tried it once for kicks and giggles. Neat feature for those in neighborhoods. Where I live it is not needed. Louder the better!
Nobody is talking about the elephant in the room...with all those wheel options now exhausted what exactly are they building in May? No NPP, no BAP, no DH HP. Looks like all plain Jane Ecoboost and GTs. Maybe a few DH builds that are non-HP, but the lack of wheel availability is striking.
Anyone who has seen the RTR grille in the dark wouldn't bash it. I think it looks pretty sick in the day, but at night it looks even better! Like the rep said, not for everyone.
