  1. Steeda Vertical Link with Brembo

Will Steeda rear vertical links on a Brembo optioned S650 make any noticeable difference? Steeda posted a video on this forum last week illustrating 8 modifications which don't require shop installation. It inspired me to R&R the rear vertical links on my 2025 GT Premium* with Brembo brake...
  2. Steeda Vertical Link Brembo Option

  3. Three months experience with my "hated" S650

The only thing I wish is for the instrumentation to look more 3D. Having owned a 2020 Corvette, I can say Mustang got a lot more things right than Chevrolet did. Oh, the C8 interior materials were first class, but instrumentation, especially Speedo choices, is one round dial. The other screen...
  4. FORD: One of the worst

I must agree to some extent that Ford cuts corners with its interior. Their “Premium“ seats are upscale vinyl, upscale, but still vinyl. And it isn’t to save money so much as saving an animal. The tilt-tele steering wheel is manual. Mopar has power tilt-tele. Ford’s sound systems are...
  5. Removal of OEM manual shift knob

That's funny because I removed my GT original in favor of the Dark Horse Titanium shift knob. I used plenty of points to get it down to $100.
  6. Intermittent Windshield Wiper Delay vs. Rain Sensing Sensitivity

Right, I know shutting it off doesn't save money. I didn't buy a GT to save money. I turned it off because I don't like it. I turned off the rev matcher, too. It assumes you're downshifting immediately when sometimes you like to make another decision.
  7. Broke stud While Installing Strut Tower Brace

Found your quote in answer to the strut tower brace bolt question. I wondered why 4 new bolts were required for a strut tower brace installation. Good thing I didn't blow it off when Ford said, 'Requires this part" when purchasing their strut tower brace. Guess I can toss the old bolts.
  8. Intermittent Windshield Wiper Delay vs. Rain Sensing Sensitivity

That's what i said. It's an added expense, hopefully to your insurer, if you need a replacement. I had cars with Head Up Display that jacked a windshield cost up because of the coating. At least I like Head Up Display, and would option it if it were offered.
  9. Intermittent Windshield Wiper Delay vs. Rain Sensing Sensitivity

The rain sensing feature was among the first items that I switched off. All it does is add extra cost when you need a new windshield.
  10. B&O sound

The problem with the BO system is the Mid-woofers, and the sub-woofer. 6 1/2 inches won't come close in the doors or the rear parcel shelf compared to 6x9 sound in the front doors, and 1/4 panel.
  11. B&O sound

Getting the B&O allows you to upgrade its incredibly lame subwoofer. I know Mustang smaller doors limit the mid-woofer size to 6.5 inches, but still Ford could do a better job for the money. In addition to my '25 GT, I own a 2016 Challenger RT and 2013 Charger RT Road and Track. Their...
  12. Bill Ford on preserving the Mustang into future generations

Same here. I owned 3 new or relatively new Ford products, and one 1960 T-Bird which is another story. I had a company 1977 Mercury Monarch, 302, a 1980 Capri, 4 cylinder, and I ordered a 1992 T-Bird Sport. The '92 T-Bird was a loaded lemon. But no Camaro meant I bought a 2025 GT 6 speed. I...
  13. Missing 2026 content

Deleting cassette/cd players in favor of USB drives and streaming is different from deleting for expense sake. Why would I still purchase a 2026 Mustang? Charger is EV or 6 cylinder, and Camaro is gone. Otherwise, this de-contenting, cheapening, greedy Ford executive BS makes me consider BMW...
  14. Missing 2026 content

I'm surprised at the response that de-contenting the 2026 Mustang is no big deal. All those missing items represent value, utility, and cool. It's just Ford's way of saying they really don't give a hoot in Hell about car buyers. I can see if these were problematic features, but it's just...
  15. Manual?

At 72 I had the same doubts, ordered a GT automatic, and it just wasn't making it. I own a 2016 Challenger RT automatic, and a 2013 Charger RT Road and Track automatic. Those are fun, but something was missing with the GT. I traded it for a 6 speed and it's a blast. Yeah, the hills make you...
  16. 2025 DH with B&O - not loud enough

Absolutely. The sub alone is critical. The Focal add punch. I'm still disappointed in Ford in that you pay all that money for what amounts to an "upgradable system". The last generation Chargers and Challengers got it right. These have larger door speakers for starters.
  17. 2025 DH with B&O - not loud enough

Not loud enough? It's just not good enough. You probably want a complete make over, but here's what I did given this system: 1. Replace the sub-woofer with a Pioneer TS-A250SDA 10 inch. I'm told it really can't support anything much stronger. 2. Replace both door mid-woofers with Focal 165AS...
  18. Rapping, Ticking, Knocking

Thanks. Did I just not notice it on the Automatic car? Or is the pump making excessive noise maybe?
  19. Rapping, Ticking, Knocking

I set up a warranty appointment with the local Ford dealer for an under hood noise. I have a 2025 GT, 6 speed, Active Exhaust, with 1900 miles that exhibits a clatter, rapping, ticking of sorts during, but mostly when I let off the accelerator. It isn't constant and improves when the car...
