Welcome. Are you considering a S650?
  2. Wonder why Ford didn't develop all-new Mustang?

  4. Unofficial 2024 Mustang Build and Price

Look in the order guide. It easiest to see there.
  5. Unofficial 2024 Mustang Build and Price

Great tool @roket, thank you. A question does the Dark Horse with the A10 get the gas guzzler tax? I ask because the the Mach 1 doesn’t.
  6. How well do you think the S650 will sell?

I'm not sure why we constantly label what muscle cars are and are not. To me "muscle" and "fast" go hand in hand. Back in the 60's that meant a V8 with all of its glorious sounds (although there were some later exceptions). Today it could mean a turbo four, or six. Also any combination with a...
  7. Nite pony package for 2024 GT

This is the first time that Ford is letting people add a package to the Performance Package so it’s a little confusing. That said in looking at the Nite Pony in the order guide it doesn’t even mention the spoiler. But there is this.
  8. How well do you think the S650 will sell?

Hopefully well enough for Ford to keep producing it for the entire planned run. Do not know what that number is and don’t really care. Just so long is there is an ICE Mustang around when it comes time to let my 19’ GT/CS go.
  9. Nite pony package for 2024 GT

Night Pony gets the blade spoiler. The Night Pony with the Performance Package get the Performance Wing.
  10. GT Auto stop/start?

So long as it’s defeatable what difference does it make? Hardly a reason to not buy a car. And yes I’ve had it and couldn’t stand it.
  11. How long before Ford Performance will offer a powerkit for the GT for this car?

It would be naive to think that an F150 and a Mustang would have the same ECU. Also even if it is the same the encryption will most likely be totally different. Do not believe you will see any jailbreaks for at least a year or two, if ever. If they want to lock it down, they can.
  12. Premium fuel for Mustang DH to be more expensive.

We have dozens of threads about gas octane and our cars. I was hoping someone would actually find proof that the DH required premium.
  13. Premium fuel for Mustang DH to be more expensive.

I do not think the point of this thread was about “being cheap”. Just that there was a report that for the first time that a Coyote “required” premium fuel. There was also the article that stated that premium gas was going to get more expensive. By the way, I’ve found nothing to corroborate the...
  14. Test drives?

Well no, otherwise who would buy the handling package? Kidding..... :giggle: On the street the differences will be minimal except for differences attributable to the barely street legal tires. On the track is where you will really notice the difference.
  15. Test drives?

Exactly. The S650 is evolutionary not revolutionary so it’s not going to drive much differently than a S550. Go drive a current model to get a good idea of whether or not a Mustang is going to right for you.
  16. Test drives?

Once the cars get into production Ford PR will be sending a fleet of cars to reviewers. Probably not until late April, Early May.
  17. Premium fuel for Mustang DH to be more expensive.

Your Mach 1’s rated HP is based on using premium. If you’re using regular you are not getting the number you think you’re getting. Also you Mach 1 has full telematics. As does virtually every other new car on the market. You may have your reasons for disliking the DH but these shouldn’t be two...
  18. Premium fuel for Mustang DH to be more expensive.

OK, so it’s not just me. I couldn’t see/find anything Saying premium is required. The fact that HP & mileage are based on using premium doesn’t mean it’s required, just recommended For best results.
