The allocation is because it’s new. There was no limit on Mach 1‘s (except for supply issues caused by Covid) and the not be any limit on Dark Horses. The only thing that will “limit” them will be price. A lot more folks will buy a $40-$50k car than a $70k car.
Based on today's pricing a 2024 GT500, if it existed, would most likely be $100k+.
Just MHO.........
DH - $70-$80k
GT350 - $85 -$100K
GT500 - $100 - $120K

Magneride requires the Performance Package just like the S550. It is an expensive combo for a GT.
HP was an option on the Mach 1 as well. Pricing comparisons to older models doesn't really matter since you cannot get a 2024 GT350. And if you...
Having been involved in e-commerce for many, many years I totally agree with you. But the key word here is should. Maybe one year, in the distant future, but for now this is what we've got!
For all of you that are unhappy with the new configurator, relax. It is a monumental achievement that Ford has even opened this up before the order banks opened. I mean historically monumental. Yes, there are a number of errors, always are. And yes, items are missing, etc. etc., etc. But, at...
Not sure about that. With a pretty basic GT* nearing $50k a one or two year old Dodge or Chevy could make a good choice and save thousands of dollars.
*Base GT with 301A, 10AT, & Active Exhaust. MSRP $47,310 + $1595 Shipping & delivery.
The fact that the suspension, exhaust (header back) and wheels are identical specs on the S650 from the S550 should tell you that this model is just a full on refresh until Ford finally pushes out the CD6 based Mustang.
There is not going to be a CD6 ICE Mustang. Unfortunately that ship has...
Well here is FNV. I cannot find anything about the S650 though.

Edit: Never mind. FNV is the reason 3rd party tunes will most likely not be available.
I understand. First scroll through the guide to find the car you want. The 300A and 301A packages are for a base GT, the 400A and 401A are for the premium car.
In this case you want page 13. Notice the part I redlined. Here you can see the two different packages. The 300A is standard, the...
Found a few pics in here but do not know the trim level. You really will not see more until after the car goes into production.
