The passenger side water leak fouling the BCM has been around for over 20 years going back to S197 at the least. Many videos of people pulling corroded modules out the car. Also many on the S197 forum had these complaints.
Youād think Ford would have noodled this issue through by now. š...
Thanks! I had no intention of getting silver. Wasnāt even on my radar. But there it was with 4 miles on it hot off the trailer. I couldnāt stop staring at it.
Not to derail this thread anymore, but 4 pages of shitting on the Mach Eā¦I think the point has been made on the poor OPā¦..lol. All...
Yesā¦for me Itās because I am new to this car, and the avalanche of technology it has over my previous car. Iām coming from an 06 GT Iāve been driving for 17 years. That car was like the Flintstone Mobile compared to this.
Thatās a habit of 17 years of just pull all the way back from Park to...
There is a transmission recall for Mustangs not being able to go in reverse. 2025 is specified, but who knows if it also affects 2024?
It could also be a hidden TSB. They do that a lot too.
Enter your VIN at www.ford.com and look at recalls.
The trick is to only momentarily depress the lock-out lever shifting out of Park, and as soon as you do, release it so it canāt go all the way back into Manual.
And itās worth saying again, since most time we go into Reverse before Drive, train your thumb to not depress the lever at all when...
Iāll look into adjusting it. Never really took a close look as to how to correct it.
I have been too focused on getting the spoiler trunk module pressed back down. Itās only held level with the trunk with 3M tape, and I broke the seal pulling up the OEM spoiler. Canāt take the module off...
Unless thereās a rubber stop in the middle of the trunk side edge, thereās no adjusting. The uneven edge is in the middle while the ends line up.
Iāll look for a mid-trunk adjuster. Iāll take a pic tomorrow to show better.
Lolā¦I thought the same thing.
I also have a large wind chime that keeps elephants off my front lawn. It must workā¦I havenāt seen a single elephant! š
My trunk dips below the rear quarter panel in the middle along the side. I donāt see how it can be adjusted as it is flush at the front and rear. Like it was stamped badly.
If you had that cement block of a subwoofer all the way in the back like in my 06 GT, it was like an invisible hand pulling your back end out. I couldn't pull that thing out fast enough.
