If using the Deltran Battery Tender, with the state of your battery, the first few times expect a full red charge light for a solid 14-20 hours! Then it will go into flashing green final charge for about 3-4 hours, then solid green. After you do it a few times, expect a full red light charge...
Installed my Billetworkz shifter. I have 3 knobs. I donāt like the weighted one I got, but hereās the 2 I now have in rotation. For those who have auto and are annoyed with the top lever, I really like the push down collar. It frees up the top of the shifter so I can pull it back into Drive...
With a 16 gal tank, when I fill up at halfway, I know about 8 gallons will go in. Iāll throw in 7 just to leave some room just in case thereās a faulty shut off. I almost always manually shut off the flow.
And I donāt feel as bad spending under $40ā¦lol.
Absolutely! Just remove the red protective plastic cover and attach the pos. To the flat blade underneath, and slightly back and to the left is a ground post sticking up. I just attached mineā¦took 4 seconds. I put a folded towel over the hood latch receiver and just set the hood on top so it...
Thatās an odd invoice. They list āBrake calipersāā¦. as opposed to sticking your feet through the floor and stopping like Fred Flintstone? :cwl:
Duly noted! The silver knob has a nice contrast though. The black knob kind of gets lost.
No matterā¦I can swap them out in 3 seconds. They just unscrew from the top. The important part was lining up the GT logo, so I needed to install that one first.
But itās a dry heatā¦. šš
No the battery doesnāt have to be 100%. But needs to be at least 80% for updates.
and yes daily driving keeps your battery charged, but not at 100% as you agreed, but being that the battery never sees 100%, the charge ceiling eventually gets lower, until an 80%...
Well, I installed it. super easy!! Just have a quality trim removal piece for the two shifter gate covers...they both just pry up with clips. Without the car running, put it in Drive so you can get a screwdriver into the front of the stalk and remove the two Phillips screws, Pull up the stock...
Told yaā¦. š¤
yup!
Noā¦itās not.
An alternator never brings your battery up to 100%. Itās not good enough on these new cars. My wifeās new Lincoln went into battery Protection Mode one day. We called Lincoln concierge, and within an hour a tech shows up. Turns out it was a friend of mine...
Only the propellant is flammable. I spray it on a sponge and wipe it on the plastic parts. if the plastic doesnāt melt from engine heat, how can the Tire Foam be an issue?
Thanks! bring pizza.
noā¦lol. But I have it down to two!
Quick Detailer could theoretically do it all. car, tires...
I dunnoā¦why did Ford opt to not put an $11 part in the Pinto to keep it from exploding in rear collisions?
Because the bean counters run companies. We should feel lucky they are still including the steering wheel. :cwl::crazy:
My car is garage kept and I have other cars to take out on rainy days. So I donāt really wash the car, just mist with Quick Wax and wipe.
After every few drives I mist the wheels with Meguiars Quick Wax and wipe with microfiber.
Meguiars Hot Shine Tire Foam cleans and shines the tires very...
I keep it simple:
Meguiars Quick Detailer and Quick Wax and microfiber. (Look up Shiny Wipes on Amazon) I do body and wheels with that. You canāt even set a towel on my hood without it just gliding off.
Meguiars Hot Shine Tire Foam applied with a sponge on tires and engine bayā¦.and any...
I had a random glitch 2 weeks ago where gage light colors went back to default. While resetting I played with gage cluster packages. Chose cobra for a day, then went back to āNormalā gage. Next day it went back to Cobra on itās own. I reset to āNormalā again and it held.
But motion sensor...
Yes, exactly. I agree 100%.
Personallyā¦.Iām just trying to untrain myself of a 17 year routine with my old shifter.
The Billetworkz shifter requires knuckling down on a collar on the shifter stalk. My theory is that because that mechanism is different enough that Iāll depress it only enough...
