  1. 2026 Mustang Updates / Changes Revealed

24’s had some awesome colors that they killed for 25. I would have loved that deep red metallic With the silver 20ā€ wheels.
  2. 2026 Mustang Updates / Changes Revealed

That was a great summary of what’s what! Ford pinching pennies I guess.
  3. Catch Cans - Do They Really Do Anything Beneficial?

Sounds good! Though I’ve been down so many rabbit holes of research on this car, I’m trying not to drive myself crazy. there seems no end to mods…part of the fun of owning one I guess. šŸ™ƒ
  4. No decklid spoiler on '26 convertibles

They are cutting several things for 2026…I presume for cost. No garage door opener, no more lighted door sills, for starters.
  5. Catch Cans - Do They Really Do Anything Beneficial?

I consistently hear and see the catch cans labelled as Driver = Clean Side and Passenger = Dirty Side. If I did get one, I’d just get passenger side so dipstick access isn’t compromised. I’m still not sure if I’ll get one. I see pics of benefits…..is there any true downsides to getting one...
  6. Spoiler PP vs the lower profile

The only time I saw people drilling holes is if the trunk had no spoiler to begin with.
  7. Swapping out stock auto shift knob.

That’s good to know. It just seems with the extra weight it would be easy to pull back past the gear you wanted to select. But having never installed it, just guessing. Yeah with an auto, there’s not much to mess up, but I would find a way. 😬
  8. A Tale of Two GTs

One of the downsides of EV’s is the charging infrastructure. That’s why the Big 3 signed on with Tesla to be compatible with Tesla’s huge amount of charger stations, with adapters for existing models to be able to use at Tesla stations. That said, having to charge for 20 minutes just to get to...
  9. New recall: water intrusion into BCM and connectors (25C43/25V546)

That problem is an inherent issue with having twin saddle tanks. Been an issue since the S197, which I had. What happens is… if the gas is pumping too fast, the closest tank fills before the other side fills, and that sends a back pressure signal to the pump that the tank is full. My solution...
  10. Swapping out stock auto shift knob.

Looks good! My knob is being delivered today. I plan to cover that opening in case anything drops. That wrapped knob is weighted right? if it is, does it wobble while driving or feel too heavy for the mechanism? (I ordered a weighted one, and it just looked and felt like it would make the...
  11. New recall: water intrusion into BCM and connectors (25C43/25V546)

Yes, it was clogged firewall drains contributing to the problem, but I think they also had issues with bad door window seals.
  12. New recall: water intrusion into BCM and connectors (25C43/25V546)

For over 20 years, the box at the passenger footwell was the issue. This video is just one example of it’s location and cause in the S197. It looks like not much has changed in general.
  13. Swapping out stock auto shift knob.

The S550 sounds like a better system. When I had my Prowler, I could pull all the way back and shifting side to side upshifted/downshifted in manual mode. I don’t remember going into it accidentally, but probably did at least once…lol. For this car I like just putting it in Auto and just...
  14. New recall: water intrusion into BCM and connectors (25C43/25V546)

You could always try spraying the box down with Corrosion X…a very effective water sealant used for RC electronics in sea planes.
  15. Poor Rear Fender and Quarter Panel Alignment.

My trunk is aligned at the rear and at the rear window. It's sunk in the middle of the gap, like it is bowed. Any adjustment will misalign it elsewhere.
  16. Paint stock silver brakes or leave as is?

I saw an ad on IG for a company that makes custom caliper covers. Any color, any design. Are caliper covers a good idea? Probably not?
  17. Stuck between White or Silver

At this point get any color, as long as you can get one that's not in a recall dealer hold.
  18. Swapping out stock auto shift knob.

Exactly. It was 17 years of pressing in the side of my T handle shifter on my 06 GT and pulling all the way back into Drive without having to think any more about it. Now I have to remember to press down just for a moment to get it out of park and let up for the rest of the way. But 9...
  19. Swapping out stock auto shift knob.

Glenn, if you keep your thumb off the top of the shifter, it can't go back all the way into manual mode. The top lever that unlocks you from Park when you push it down is the only thing that lets you go into Manual mode. Try to pull it into Manual without depressing the lever. It can't be...
