Glad I provide so much amusement for you. A $9 drain plug is not the same as 4 new tires.
OKā¦..I looked in the manual and canāt verify what I have read elsewhere. I google the question and get this answer with sources. (See below) Now maybe the sources are actually referring to when the oil...
There was a time when oil was to be changed every 3 months! Iām going back at least 40 years ago. Synthetic wasnāt a thing yet, and the big breakthrough was Arco Graphite (who remembers that?). it was black becuase of the graphite and the particles were so fine it leaked out of every engine...
For a new car under warranty, Or actually any of my cars, I donāt deviate from the recommended oil weight. And I think Iāve made up my mind to stick with Motorcraft For this car. Even though their filters are paper and reportedly 85% filtration compared to Mobil 1 synthetic pleat 99%...
OK, I went down the oil/filter rabbit hole. I encourage you guys here to please correct or verify the following things I have read online. The problem with online info is that itās hard to truly verify. So opinions are welcome!
1) EDIT: I have read in other FORUMS, AND GOOGLE SEARCHES, that...
I never seriously looked into platesā¦I think 7 characters is max.
I always remember the story I read in the news someone was rejected the plate HOOKER. Turns out it was a priest and it was just his nickname.
There was one plate that looked clean until seen in rear view mirror. Canāt remember...
I donāt have pictures of them all, Iām 61 and itās a bit of a long list. Based on what I could afford at the time and sometimes craving luxury like the 300M, but then missed exciting cars. I started driving in 1982, so even though my first car was only 8 years old, it was a heap. Cars have...
A 1970 Boss 429 was rated 375 hp, but many believe that was conservative, and many muscle cars at that time were rated conservatively to beat high insurance rates. Some say it was closer to 500 hp, but then you have to play the net/grossā¦. At the flywheel/at the wheel gameā¦.so who knows? But...
I get itā¦.Once you drive a V8 itās hard to go back. I drove a Plymouth Prowler for 6 years, and as insanely cool as that car was, I got tired of the V6. I really missed the sound and thrust of a V8. Then got an 06 Mustang GT used in 07, and drove that all the way up to last month. I really...
Maybe Iāll try some of the ceramic stuff, but it always came across as gimmicky. Of course I can be wrong, I often am, but just saying why I have stayed with wax.
IMO, the 3M tape does all the heavy holding and the little bead of black silicone is nothing more than a water barrier to keep water from seeping into the 3M tape and weakening it.
FWIW: It was 20% off last week, must have been a 4th of July sale. Back down to 15% off now.
So if anyone wants parts or accessories, and can wait, check back around holidays.
Iām also a fan of Meguiars Quick Wax. If you want to up your Quick Wax Game get thisā¦itās definitely richer and doesnāt hardly cost much more. I love it...
Light sanding will change the texture. Get a replacement, especially since they are offering. That is not unreasonable at all.
I guess I got lucky with my order, No sanding. There is a small gap if you look real close, but the gap is straight across, so it looks OK from just standing there...
Cz. itās not that badā¦.lol. Silver is a sharp color!
Bikeman: I stand corrected. Wandering through 47 pages of order specsā¦I guess I lost my place. BTW: That CS is NICE!
Czā¦..I hadnāt planned on silver, but it did catch my eye, and now I canāt picture owning another color. (maybe if they had metallic red still, that would have nailed it For me). But youāll be very happy with silver!
Going through 2026 options out of curiosity, some interesting changes.
3.55...
The only thing I donāt like is initial pedal response. Like there is a tiny delay and it bogs down in 1st gear which is odd for 3.55 gears.
But this guy hates Pedal Commander and recommends another brand.
