There's a product called Perfect Glass. Leaves no streaks. But even microfiber leaves little fuzzies. When I cleaned glass in a frame shop I learned the best thing to wipe with is newspaper....doesn't leave streaks.
Paddles are cool if you account for the delay, and learn to shift almost a full second before you want it to. If accelerating and you want the next gear at a certain RPM, I learned to hit the paddle about 500 RPM early.
Hell yeah! It’s not too aggressive...kind of just right for the GT IMO If you don’t want a heavy racing look.
I was a little bummed it only attached with 3M tape and a bead of silicone, but it holds strong. It goes right over the stock stubby nub of a splitter that sticks out the front.
My...
When I looked up recalls, there was also a recall for an issue where the trans won’t shift into reverse. But what models or build dates they affect is a mystery.
I played it safe and also swapped 8 ohm for 8 ohm, but not being an audio expert, I have no idea if changing to a 4ohm makes too much difference for such a small speaker. It might not be that bad?
Interesting to see the 2 cars side by side.
Of course electric is quicker. the GT engine develops 486 hp at 7500 RPM, while the Mach E motors have ALL 480 hp all at once from a dead start….not even including the extra torque.
Electric doesn’t make me giggle like a V8 does, but nice to see you...
You’re not kidding. On my previous 06 GT I had a Check Engine Light. Code said Bad Cam Sensor. I replaced the cam sensor (easy job) myself twice and light kept coming on. I scoured forums until I found out a bad alternator diode will send the same code. So bough a rebuilt alt. gave it to my...
I think Ford did it for a good reason. To make sure inlet air is proportional to exit air. Exit air is supposed to be at least 3X more flow than inlet, at least that applies to RC plane fuselage cooling. But a dynamic principle is a dynamic principle.
I think if it’s opened more the air will...
That DH has it’s own unique shaped splitter which the Air Design won’t fit on to. You’d have to buy one that bolts on after fully taking off your DH splitter. So that Air Design is not a contender for you….
Sorry, I missed where you said it was to go on a DH. My bad.
You could have run over a plastic bag on the road, they can sometimes catch on the exhaust and melt.
or if you had a recent oil change, some extra oil might have spilled on the engine and also is burning off.
Usually reconnecting the battery restarts any adaptive memory, like driving style, and shifting points.
I’d also be curious what any other factors get reset. Are radio presets gone, driving preferences, etc.? My guess all these preferences are stored in the Ford Sync cloud and reloaded...
If you’re driving with the windows closed, the cabin does a good job of suppressing the violence that is coming out the tailpipes. Drive with the windows down under an overpass, and give it some gas……lol.
Yeah my bad…you’re right, the app alone doesn’t show software update history…here’s what you do….
Go to Ford.com and log in with your email/password or VIN.
Scroll down to the Support Topics section.
Select “Software Updates”
Scroll down until you can click on “Check Update History”
I got this…
I checked my update status in the car and Ford app, and they state “No updates in the last 90 days” …so I don’t think you’re missing anything, if that helps.
This is the one to get. Pricey, but 15% off ATM. But you get what you pay for. I bet Labor Day they make it 20% off….they do stuff like that.

Highly recommend it! It was a bit nerve wracking...
Air Design Front Splitter sold directly from Ford. Not too big for my preference. Just tape and silicone (included) attaches it to the existing teeny splitter. It’s also an exact match to the rockers And rear valance in color/texture.
That looks really good! Very tastefully done!
….if I had one comment, you should have got the trunk blackout panel from Ford Accessories. It wraps around the trunk edges and comes with a piece of black vinyl to go around the trunk keyhole. You’d have a perfectly blacked out trunk with no...
