  1. Shine/Protect Chemicals

Meguiars Quick Wax. Are there better products? I don’t care. Come to my garage with a white glove. :sunglasses: set a towel on my front hood, it will just glide off on its own.
  2. There is a governor!

I’m absolutely positive the manual says so. šŸ™ƒ
  3. Auto StartStop

I set my custom drive profile to: Comfort steering Track Exhaust Traction Control Off auto stop/start Disabled Nice to do all that with one click upwards on the steering wheel button. šŸ™‚
  4. There is a governor!

I read a post here somewhere where the car misread a 60 MPH sign for 80 while in that mode. Skivvies were soiled.
  5. New Firmware update

Wait….pressing my driver 1 memory on my door also restores gauge colors and appearance? If so I have to try and verify. I thought the button only stored seat and side mirror memory.
  6. Auto StartStop

Start stop is the worst feature ever invented for a car. Either get used to disabling it upon start up, or set a custom drive profile with it deactivated. (Ecoboosts have drive profiles?)
  7. My car might soon be legally a lemon, anyone know what happens if I modified the car?

Wow…not just decent outcome, but best possible outcome! Double congrats! :like:
  8. Connecting CTEK/Battery Tender

ah…I just go to newest posts and didn’t notice the forum section. Whoops… But the basic is the same right? Fuse box and ground post?
  9. Swapping out stock auto shift knob.

If you order from the auto shifter page, buying the knob without the $80 adapter is not possible. I asked Billetworkz what the workaround is, and they said the manual knobs are the exact same threads as the auto. With the sale, you can get some cool extra knobs for $30 less if you order from...
  10. Software updates - any confirmation after installation?

    That’s a good question. Let’s assume it’s not a problem…lol.
  11. Swapping out stock auto shift knob.

Looks good! I just ordered 2 more knobs during their sale. On their main page, non-custom selection of knobs are on sale for $89 plus the 10% off. I got a cosmic blue and also a gloss black with silver splash. So I have a total of 5 knobs…yikes! I ordered a case to put them all in so I can...
  12. New recall: water intrusion into BCM and connectors (25C43/25V546)

The recall doesn't guarantee you have an existing problem. Just that is a possibility.... and they have a way to minimize that possibility.
  13. Connecting CTEK/Battery Tender

    In the S650 do this....
  14. New recall: water intrusion into BCM and connectors (25C43/25V546)

17 years....only part that failed was an alternator....once. that car was rock solid!
  15. Swapping out stock auto shift knob.

The trigger is cool. But I can still see myself hanging my finger on it while pulling it back past where I want to. So far really lovin my collar release mechanism. Knuckle it down and then just grab the top of the knob to pull back and lock before hitting Manual. It really eliminated my error...
  16. Software updates - any confirmation after installation?

In a perfect world, we shouldn't have use a tender if the car sits for 3 days....but here we are, livin the dream in the electronic age. A small inconvenience, literally 10 seconds to hook up a tender.
  17. Ended up with a Dark horse

Been married over 25 years....never been told once what I can or cannot do. Same applies to her. Maybe because we met in our late 30's and were already fully formed independent people. But hey, every couple dynamic is different. That said, a GT Premium is not the worst option to end up with...
  18. Connecting CTEK/Battery Tender

That’s interesting because the manual clearly states to not go more than 2 weeks without at least starting the car and putting the gear shift through it’s motions. Page 327 of my 2025 manual.
  19. New recall: water intrusion into BCM and connectors (25C43/25V546)

The BCM most affected is in the passenger side footwell if I’m not mistaken.
  20. Software updates - any confirmation after installation?

You can look up software updates in the car and on your app and it should tell you. But as far as a proactive notice that your car got updated, I don’t think so. Usually indications are presets are all messed up.
