Jeez. The book is only $57. What’s that…one trip to the gas station? 🙄
  2. Mystery Steering Wheel Button

    Printer ink isn't cheap....lol
  3. American Muscle Stripes

There’s also 2 types of vinyl, cast and calendared. Cast vinyl is much better. it’s flexible and lasts longer. I would think you could trust what AM and CJ sells. Call and ask questions. I think your dealer can also apply the decals. Can always ask.
  4. There is a governor!

I’d say 80% of every question here is answered in the owner’s manual. But that other 20% makes this forum invaluable. There ARE a lot of questions the manual doesn’t address….especially aftermarket options. I learned a LOT here and I read every page of my manual. and yes I mean the 552...
  5. Asking for a friend… JD Power

Some recalls are just software updates. My wife’s Lincoln has a recall for power windows, just needs a software update done while in for regular service. And yes it’s officially labelled a “recall”. But I feel for those who ordered and paid for a car and can’t take delivery for something that...

    Not really…...
  7. Auto StartStop

Ever have an album skip at one point in a song while listening to it as a teenager? Then 40 years later that song comes on the radio and you still cringe waiting for that skip? That…lol.
  8. There is a governor!

Never use it…. Not because it’s a bad feature, but I don’t take long highway trips so I don’t have a need for it. My back can’t tolerate long drives.
  9. Auto StartStop

I deactivate S/S just because it is annoying. I grew up driving POS cars and it reminds me too much of the days when my car would just die at a stop light.
  10. There is a governor!

Yes, but many people do not even look at when the last post was made. You can order the full 552 page manual for your 2024 Here. Worth the money to be able to flip through real pages...
  11. There is a governor!

Yes..where are we disagreeing? You can set your speed to posted signs and have the option to adjust that speed.
  12. Swapping out stock auto shift knob.

Yes, very important! With the anodized knob it’s easy to feel the collar touching the top of the lever underneath. Just lock in the adapter lightly on top or even a fraction of an inch above it. The grub screws are high quality and deep so you can tighten them good without worrying about...
  13. What’s the Most Useful Interior Upgrade You’ve Made?

My seats are heated/ cooled. Covering them would not be a good idea.
  14. Red Rocket’s Full S650 Mustang Stereo Project (9 Speakers)

Amazing conversion! Wow, a spare tire mounted subwoofer! I bet it sounds awesome!
  15. Mode Selection on Steering Wheel

If you paddle downshift, you still need to accelerate to pass anyway. I found that as in many autos, how far down you press down the pedal determines what gear you downshift to. a partial press will drop me to a higher gear than a further pedal push. So I just drop down the pedal in...
  16. Mystery Steering Wheel Button

Because some people just got the car and look up old threads to find answers.
  17. There is a governor!

Simple….Because some people just got the car.
  18. Just some pics

Wow, almost the same exact blue as the Porsche! Nice car, and I like the 1/4 side louvers! They look really nice! I’m just concerned about the horrible blind spot they create. I have conventional 1/4 window louvers and am glad I can see through them while merging.
  19. Auto StartStop

I get in my car, push start button, click up on steering wheel twice to go in Custom Profile Drive mode, foot on brake, release emergency brake, push down on Billetworkz release collar, put it in reverse…..and by that time I forgot where I was going.:cwl:
  20. There is a governor!

The only button I use on the left side of the wheel is to click up to my Custom Drive Profile. all the other ones are useless …..to me.
