Sounds good. It’s just one piece of the puzzle to making power with these. You can push the parts around from different angles and get the same or similar results. All in what you know and what you’re comfortable with. For remote tuning boosted cars, the conservative path is always...
  2. Please explain Forscan to an idiot

100%. Couldn’t have said it better myself.

With the centri cars you just need to take overlap out through the middle and a bit at the top. Whipple does the same for theirs as well. Flatten out that midrange overlap a tad on the intake but more on the exhaust so you dont bleed off boost into the exhaust.

Yeah they do some wild stuff but then run WOT PE down to .75 and also leave on COT enriching down to .70. Which is how they balance it out. Remember whipple is dancing the line of Ford/GVMT regulations vs performance people want. And man it shows all over their files.
  5. ESS G3 Supercharger kit arrived & installed!

Never put it on a dyno. Just street tuning where it would actually live. It was happy at 10psi running like a scalded dog. The street manners are ok with the centri. Its like a stock car but enhanced. Which lends itself to tuning theory since you are basically driving an NA stock car...

You figured right lol. That guy has a hard on for me since the lank centering thread and man did it pump him up like he’s a walking god or something. I have him blocked now so I don’t have to read his mess anymore. It’s been nice. But do be careful with forscan. It’s not hard to actually...
  7. Please explain Forscan to an idiot

**Warning** Idiots shouldnt be using forscan for anything.

Since you got the lawn rail mod, just get his dual pump plug and play kit. Similar to Wengerds. They are both quality and will provide the tune file data you need to make them work. I'd like to see this car make some runs at some point. I go to BMP quite often. I have a new project car Im...

Id have to see a log. But your set up on quality 93-e30 likes about 15*. You'd have to put it on a dyno and see if that extra 2* is doing anything. You might be on the edge of knock, but thats still too close for boost. On an NA set up, its not a big deal. But with 12:1 compression and...

The 6500ish rev limiter was the temp based cutoff limiter. Its actually at 6800. Its a fuel cut limiter.

@cbrtrx Im local to you as well.

Yeah 17 is too much. 15 is the sweet spot. 17 is what i'd run for full E85 cars. Maybe 18. But 14-15 for 93-e30. Ive tuned several ESS s650s so far.
  13. Dark Horse non HP spacer dilemma

You might need to shave down the studs then keep that in mind.
  14. Dark Horse non HP spacer dilemma

    This is mine.
  15. Dark Horse non HP spacer dilemma

    1" hub centric fits perfectly.
  16. 1/4 Mile Times

I got a few guys on my gen3 E85 tunes going 11.1 and 10.9 at about the same mph. My one guy in lousianna went 11.1@126 with drag pack, cat deletes and my E85 tune. About the same for my gen4 guys that are running drag packs and my E85 tunes. In winter DA Im going to shoot for 10s with my...
