The front center speaker is easily replaced. I posted a thread here on it. That was an improvement. A thread search should turn it up. Note the OEM front speaker is 8 ohm. though some here have replaced it with a 4 ohm and not reported any trouble.

If your windshield was already replaced by a shop, then it was most likely done right and not subject to the recall issue of it being poorly installed at the factory.
