Yeah, Corvettes and mustangs hold their resale value pretty well. My one hope with the c8 is that there so popular, I hope they'll be a good go to option for a cheap mid engine used sports car down the road.
My dude, if I dumped 5 grand into turbo charging my maverick hybrid, it would probably walk a mustang 5.0. that doesn't mean the 2.5 inline 4 hybrid system would be a good choice for the mustang. I prefer engines that are impressive out of the gate, not ones you have to put thousands into before...
Not gonna lie, this build turned vapour Blue from one of my least favorite colors to one of my favs. A big part of it is the wheels. Black or dark grey wheels with vapour Blue is a turnoff for me. But having lighter color wheels that add more contrast makes the color pop.
I actually like it quite a bit. I love how they evolved the light design, looks very futuristic. The ducktail also looks great. Above all else, this shows how great the s650 looks when lowered and on bigger rims.
Alright, don't hate me, but I'm actually kinda digging the stripes and color combo here. I haven't been a huge fan of the s650 stripes, but they look alright here.
I'll go so far as to say, off all the real world color/trim combos we've seen, this is prob my favorite.
I kinda hope we get an EV mustang coupe soon as it's own spinoff model. Something like this would blend the mustang name and EV propulsion together very well.
I've said a few times that it's very Area 51 ish with the main difference being they added a mild blue metallic flake to it. Area 51 and colors like it look great, but they feel a little too muted for a sports car imo.
I don't know if we'll see a return of the gt350 name, but it seems like whatever this road going version of the gt3 car is will be the gt350 equivalent of this gen.
Apparently something about the existence of the dual air intakes on the s650 means if they were to make a new flat plane, the vibration and balancing issues shouldn't be as much of a problem, if at all.
So fingers crossed some sort of 5.4 flat plane wouldn't have all those issues.
Maybe it's just a simple visual trick used by the designers, but the s650 looks noticably wider to me than the s550, which I love. The flared body side apparently looks way more pronounced in person.

I'm the opposite, usually prefer lighter rims, gunmetal is the darkest I'm willing to go. I just feel like dark rims hide the design, and don't really pop imo.
