  1. New recall: water intrusion into BCM and connectors (25C43/25V546)

That's what the town hack is for. Driving in the wet, getting dirty, being dinged in car parks.
  2. S650 Mid Cycle Refresh

Listen to my brother. He knows, and there are many like us who delayed gratification. ( On some things)
  3. S650 Mid Cycle Refresh

Don't knock those Trabants. They nearly conquered the world with 2 stroke emissions.
  4. Front fender liner whole

That's a better price. But I've done mine for free now, if they don't last I'll look at those. On the whole, a wholly acceptable solution to the hole problem
  5. What’s your 1 best and 1 worst feature of the S650 Mustang?

Best (in no particular order); revvy engine/high N/A power, dash screens, looks/presence, gas struts on the hood, Brembos, noise x 3, handles pretty well/good grip (except pulling out of car parks), makes me happy. Worst; no front sensors/camera, hate leaving it parked in public areas, I'm not...
  6. S650's direct competition?

    Electrify'n
  7. 1,369 WHP 2024 Mustang Dark Horse by Evolution Performance / Whipple / HP Tuners / Lund Racing

Jeez Louise, that's almost enough power. You'd need your tyre guy on retainer. Fill 'er up and 2 new tyres thanks.
  8. Next gen Mustang (8th gen) will stay gas-powered ICE well into 2030's

It identifies as a Mustang. The same way I identify as a billionaire.
  9. Early oil change message

So, why do most bike manufacturers recommend 10,000kms (6200 miles Ryan) for oil service when bikes are much harder on oils than cars, excepting original Minis. Sport bikes wind to anywhere from 11,000 to 145,000 rpm, comp ratios are similar to the Coyote, oil capacity is usually around 3.8 - 4...
  10. Early oil change message

    Most women have noticed that
  11. Early oil change message

I'm doing you a favour. An active brain doesn't get alzheimers. 50kmh = 30mph 100kmh = 62mph 100C = 212F An easy one 260kmh = 160mph See the benefit of decimalisation Ryan? Our cars are 100 faster than your cars.
  12. A Tale of Two GTs

I've only attended one ICE car fire as a result of a crash where the occupants had no chance to get out. Not that Traffic cops are often first on the scene very much. Anyway, two teenage brothers had been in town with their new car, they stopped for an incident on the motorway and a drunk...
  13. A Tale of Two GTs

I'll swap pretty plastic for a 7600 rpm V8, huge Brembos, exhaust music and massive fun factor any day of the week.
  14. Early oil change message

I should have said, a year to me is 7 - 8000 kms.
  15. Youtube moment

Not too cold, about 15C, and the tyres had some heat in them running errands around town. I see a set of Michelins or maybe the new Pirelli PZ5's in my future. Even so, I think it'll always be a bit playful
  16. Youtube moment

No, not even close. But I now know how some people loop their Mustangs and go gardening in them. I pulled out of a carpark and gave it just a tiny extra tickle of throttle to sneak into a gap, and the bugger started sliding sideways, dry road too. It's no problem, it's super controllable, but...
  17. Glass cleaners

I use them a lot around the house, never thought to use it on the cars. Mental future note logged.
  18. Early oil change message

I think the OLM is a fibber. I'll stick to once a year.
  19. Katzkin Interior- is this too much Red?

For some reason we have a lot of Beemers here. I saw a new M5 Estate last week, M cars are fairly common. Mustangs are rare and exotic in comparison
  20. S650 Mid Cycle Refresh

I would rather pay $5k ( or whatever) for a new screen once in a blue moon, than drop $10k every year on depreciation, as on my last 4 new cars. Plus, because the Ford is a traditional front engine/rear drive, I'll be able to do maintenance more more easily than on some Euro turbo AWD rocket...
