Not just camber. As I said, it could be toe out.
I've never heard of such a direct relationship of camber to tyre life. Where did you see that?
FWIW I have worked in an alignment shop.
That could be excess negative camber or toe out, an alignment is in order.
I have to say I'm shocked it's down to the belts, that's seriously dangerous.
This is spot on. Oil needs to be above the boiling point of water to evaporate contaminants. Every car I've had with an oil temp gauge has been over 100C when at normal water temps.
2 Pages in a day? This is as good as oil threads🍸
Ceramic coating was the best thing I've found. I was sceptical for a long time.
I'm not fanatical with my cars ( some would disagree), I want them clean and shiny, but not so keen on putting the hours in since I got old last year.
I just like to...
OK, we were a bit rougher then, generally over 12v was OK and over 14v on start up dropping back to 13.5v or so while running. I'll bow to Google wisdom.
I"ve gone the "belt and braces" route. Factory inflator and slime, my aftermarket inflator, and my bike puncture repair kit. (Dog turds)
None of would have helped on the three punctures we've had in the last 12 years.
Agreed. I had a Hyundai that developed indicator problems, the dealer said that's the BCM, $1200 thanks, ex Korea, non refundable. So I ordered one.
Next day I was talking to my electronics wizz brother and he said try cleaning all the flasher bulb contacts. And Bingo! Flashers working fine...
Just to derail the derailing of the original Thread.
Jeez I hate the overuse of the word hate. It's so bloody Gen Z. Some one disagreeing with someone else is a hater, or a Nazi.
I don't hate inanimate objects like EV's, I dislike them.
I may not agree with someone's choice of car, but I will...
Why do you think the warranty is 8 years?
And, the fire stats are per mile, what are they per capita?
Not to mention the differing lethality of fires between ICE and EV.
An ICE car fire can be as simple as overheated brakes setting fire to grease/oil nearby.
Why also, are vehicle carriers...
I had that in a Toyota 86. Finally found a piece of plastic sheet under the infotainment system that rubbed on something until it warmed up and lost tension.
Took a couple of years to find that PIA. That left a million other noises to find.
Our cat's great in the car, but he is in a cage. If he wasn't he'd want to drive.
His deceased buddy wasn't so happy and let us know, continuously.
When I last had a dog, my car was one too, so I didn't care.
