  1. OIL Usage

@richardmauro ..... short answer is no. Probably not at correct level after PDI.
  2. Glass Screen and Polarized Sunglasses?

Can we read the glass displays of the 2024 GT Premium with polarized sunglasses? Thanks for any replies.
  3. Not for everyone...

......as well where I live there has been a big push against what is termed "stunt driving". It is a $5,000.00 fine and car impoundment and a lot of points off your license but that isn't the worst part, insurance companies can dump you and put you into facility insurance - so high rates for up...
  4. Is this oil filter ok for my s650 gt ? I have a bad feeling about it

@S650 lover ..... I am going to keep using the FL-500S until I can no longer get it. I like its design and have been told it is built for Ford by Wix. I don't like the look of the replacement.
  5. Not for everyone...

@akawease ..... I did by mistake as at the time I only had about 1000 miles on it. My friend was beside me at a light with his vette and he jumped on the light. By instinct I I hit the pedal (not even nearly "floored") and left about five feet of burn on the road. That was last June on a day the...
  6. Should I be frustrated or am I wrong?

@akawease ..... you'll be okay. In your case, IMO, having the tires properly balanced and aligned would be my biggest concern.
  7. Coyote Valve seal leak.

@S650sunshine ..... the main results will be plug fouling emissions control devices. There shouldn't be enough oil leakage to damage the cats - unless there is almost total bypass. Nevertheless, you should get the seals replaced.
  8. Weekend Weather

Prayers for those who are suffering from the devastating weather this weekend. Tornadoes and fires have claimed too many. Hope fellow forum members and families are safe.
  9. Playing videos on your screen (YouTube / Netflix)

You can't beat this forum for amusement. Watching videos, reading a book and BBQing in your cars ....too funny. Would sure let the insurance company off the hook if you rear ended someone......and you know the guy you rear ended would claim back and neck pain for life - it'd be cheaper to just...
  10. Test Drove a Mustang GT - drive review

@Upacurb ..... I hear you brother! Pretty much nothing is new to me or a first at this time of my life. I admit I do get a bit cranky late at night. I also could have expressed myself better. I probably should have phrased my reply thus: last summer there was a knock at my door. There was a...
  11. Test Drove a Mustang GT - drive review

I'm confused (nothing new here). People drive a Mustang then compare different aspects of a bunch of other vehicles to the Mustang to show areas that it lacks in comparison. If the other car(s) is/are so great why didn't the "reviewers" just they buy one of them? How is the Mustang (or any car)...
  12. Fog lights with 15000 lumens

@Allanrock59 ...... sounds cool but I have a question when you say 15K lumens do you mean 15,000 lumens? If so, awesome, but you should ensure they are set low enough to be considered "fog" lights, not "driving" as 15,000 lumens is serious power and distance. I use one of the brightest scuba...
  13. 2025 mustang gt whine noise

@Gregs24 ..... You are correct. They are HD straight cut gears for the oil pump as they are more robust. As pertaining to other comments on this thread - IMO - the 10R80 is an amazing transmission. IF and I say IF owners want to shift from first to second or second to third in excess of 7,000...
  14. 2025 mustang gt whine noise

@miikepk ..... noise is caused by straight cut gears. There is a TSB on it and Ford says no worries. The same transmission is in GMs (joint development project) GM put some sound absorbing material on/in theirs but GM owners express concerns that it allows the transmission to heat up fast. I'd...
  15. 2024+ Mustang Scores High in April 2025 Consumer Reports Issue

@MustangMitch69 ..... thankyou for the effort you took. I'm glad to see our Mustangs are getting some well-deserved recognition and respect!
  16. 15 GT > 21 Mach1 > 24 Dark Horse Experience

@roadpilot .....your engineer is entitled to his opinion. From what I have seen with my own Mustang, read and discussed with others, I disagree with him. I have seen manufacturers offer, too many times, what I consider invalid explanations to try to defend a defect. IMO There is no ground or air...
  17. 15 GT > 21 Mach1 > 24 Dark Horse Experience

@onaccountof ..... did not mean to be hostile - my apologies, but it cheeses me off when someone makes a really, really uninformed comment (like the tech you quoted did) and he hadn't read about a thousand lines of authoritative of posts on the topic thread. Geez, you can "google" the topic and...
  18. 15 GT > 21 Mach1 > 24 Dark Horse Experience

@RLE55 ..... I don't mind mud/stone guards if they blend with the body styling. My comment was that some guys might have the guards on but leave the holes in the fender liners open....a bit sarcastic.
  19. Another dire sales report [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I think there is a lag in uncertainty. I was buoyed by Trump's speech and the assembly of a very fine Republican Team - (not meant as a political comment or side-taking) - and I predict there will soon be evidence of a very significant increase in spender optimism and actual increases in...
  20. 15 GT > 21 Mach1 > 24 Dark Horse Experience

@young at heart ...... well, maybe the "tech" should view Tony Unica's post before he makes stupid statements...... and maybe Ford should put a free shop vac inside each Mustang's trunk to get all the dirt, mud, stones and God forbid if you winter drive it the salt out - from ALL ALONG the...
