@Tim_CO ...... yes, the intake design was carefully thought out by Ford. I have noticed (obviously) sitting in traffic can warm-up the intake air but as soon as I hit 30 mph the twin air induction "snorkels" do their work and shoot cooler air right into the engine, then engine head temps and oil...

@krisk and @TheGrabberBlueGT2024 Blue .....was discussing this with a friend who owns a 2024GT. He asked, " Doesn't the DH have an auxiliary cooler behind its lower front grille? That area of the grille seems to have OEM open slots to let the air blow through when underway. Couldn't 1/2 or 3/4...

@krisk ..... great pictures , very interesting. Thank you! Awesome beast! @TheGrabberBlueGT2024 ..... I agree with @krisk ..... would be very hard to install an aux oil cooler there. Much easier up front and likely more of a radiator function (air blowing through the fins) than a heat sink type...

@AZ_Ryan .....I respectfully disagree. I have installed many small transmission coolers over the years. Even a small one makes a tremendous difference and new ones are even more efficient.

@kagemusha2662 ...... of course, but that was not the point. The point was it was fun to watch the Mustang rip up the road and then watch the video of the RSA guys and TRC vidoe as well as the transmission and engine builders.

As part of a discussion regarding transmission coolers for Mustangs I referred @TheGrabberBlueGT2024 to RSA race Solutions of Boynton Beach Florida as they are IMO the final word on building Mustang transmissions (google them) as well they build crazy HP Mustangs with the number one (for 2024)...

@TheGrabberBlueGT2024 ..... CORRECTION. The shop in Boynton Beach Fla. is RSA Race Solutions. They build the best mustang transmissions IMO anywhere and also build specialty Mustangs like the 2000HP 'Lambo Killer" - super videos of that encounter are on "google". GOOGLE - 2000HP Coyote Beats...

@TheGrabberBlueGT2024 ....try calling RSA (race solutions America) in Florida. They are Mustang transmission specialists. I bet they can ship you or hook you up with a small cooler that any decent tranny shop or performance shop can install in 30 - 50 minutes. I did this years ago with a 302...

@downtheroad ..... I have heard them referred to as nostrils - not in a good way. Saw a 2025 Mustang California with the blue nostrils and I did not like the look. If it were mine the tape and spray paint would be out to repaint them black.

@TheGrabberBlueGT2024 ..... temps are a bit high but okay. They are also similar which is good. Texas can get pretty hot in the summer. You can easily have a small transmission fluid cooler added if you start surpassing 230 F or are running 228 all the time.

@AZ_Ryan ..... Aren't the Brembo calipers bigger than OEM to the point where you need 21" rims? I have a 2024 GT that has Mustang Brembo writing on the front calipers but they are NOT the Brembo option. My rims are 20" and I'm pretty sure I'd have to up-size to 21s to add true Brembos.

@Ve 8 ..... both colors are great choices. I chose vapor blue (it does have metallic in it that sparkles in the sun) and the space gray interior. The only annoying thing about it is that I get stopped a lot to answer about the color. :cool:

I don't care how fast the Charger goes - I'd be too ashamed to be seen in a frickin' EV....even one disguised as a "muscle car".
